Are you using setting TCR for Ti or SS in eScribe?
TI.

But I also find it takes overnight for the resistance to settle.

My "theory" is that the resistance lowers a little as the SS is clamped to the TI in the terminals. The metal touching the terminals is predominantly SS, but when you tighten down on the terminal the "path of least resistance" is the TI core, as it compresses overnight into the TI (and possibly expansion and contraction while you vape) the resistance drops a tad.

For $20 these Kanger K1s are not bad at all. A little shorter than a reference mod, but a little heavier.

Have you opened it up yet? How's the wiring in there?
16g throughout, measured it with caliper, which meets Evolv's minimum spec.
Very clean/neat wiring job, would be very easy to beef it it up if you wanted to. Dont see the need unless you are running the top end continuously.

BTW, just got the Penguin SE today too. Really isnt a bad little pod mod for less than $30. Holds almost 9ml of juice, 2000MaH batt, rechargeable, light, and VERY pocket friendly. After breaking my favorite black Evolv 200 reference mod at work yesterday, I may just use one of these at work. The vape is good enough to satisfy, its no clapton, but it still hits rather nice. These would also make a good give-away starter mod for someone trying to quit.

I was hoping that Mike would do a case analyzer on one of those K1's and maybe let me copy his results...hint hint.
Or did Kanger already do it?
In case I must do it myself I have grabbed the wife's SDNA75 and applied my atomizer to it to see if I can get the battery discharged enough for when my K1's arrive later today.

No, Kanger did not set mod resistance or do the case analyzer thing. I will do it this weekend and post it.

I must be doing it wrong! It happens to me more than I would like to admit :(
Especially with the wasp! A minor over squonk results in spit back & a major over squonk results in juice in mouth :(
I find it takes some skill & practise to be a "Good Squonker" To get the right amount of juice in there it takes technique, the bottle changes with the amount of juice in to. So a nice easy squeeze works when full & it has to get progressively harder as the level drops.
I get that as well with the Wasp and the Pulse. I'm not overly impressed with the Pulse and it's silly coil height. My Wasp whistles unless the coil is totally above the air slots, I can put up with a lot of things but whistle isn't one of them.

The best single coil RDA I have used so far is the Aeronaut 24 (V2). Using a 4mm ID Tskua coil in it and the juice well is a foot deep, so a nice big squonk and your set for a dozen pulls. Doesn't leak when its on it's side either. :D
