Whats the best way to paint a CA clear coat on a Shapeways mod? Or is there something more durable?

I have heard to dilute with acetone, but I once caused a bad reaction mixing the two, it heated HOT and foamed, it was bad enough I was about to run. Maybe it was ratio thing and had the ratio off.

I have a Black BAP enclosure I want to put a DNA60 in. I figure I can mod the charger area enough to make the new Escribe friendly one fit. Its a dual 18650 model, but I am still going to hunt for just the right size Lipo to put it in.

More of a nostalgia thing than anything else. Hate to just waste that enclosure and not ever do anything with it.

Hey Tibs, got any screws left?

I know what you mean, I love to figure out a way to update an old mod with a DNA board, I like the challenge and it's neat to have a mod others would think is an outdated mod yet it's a sleeper with an Evolv board. Got to put the final touch to the ZNA 60 by getting the USB for escribe installed then I'll post some pics. But that won't happen until all the prep work around here for winter is done, and that list is long....

Lastly, I've got odds and ends of tiny screws and I add more to my stash from time to time, if you ever need something shoot me an email and let me know, I'd be more then happy to send you any that I might have. I stumbled across this company a couple years ago Albany County Fasteners | Nuts, Bolts, Hardware & More They have high quality hardware from tiny machine screws to construction fasteners and they are constantly adding to what they carry. I bought all my hardware (in stainless) for the mods I've built from them. Their prices are great on all the stainless they sell, I just got an order for a bunch of stainless deck screws and some set screws for the mizer decks, got to build a new set of steps for the back porch and I've got to replace all my gutters, using stainless they'll never rust and leave rust streaks.

I've got some more of these stainless allen headed screws for the ERM+ if anyone wants some let me know.

These are tiny stainless allen screws I used for the board standoffs, I chucked them in a drill, spun them and gave them a brushed finish. Metric Flat Head Socket Cap Screws | A2 Stainless Steel

Nothing new other than the DNA60 small screen which will fit the BAP DNA40 enclosure, I couldnt use the original DNA60 large screen. The DNA60 is Escribe aware. The BAP DNA40 enclosure was modeled for the older smaller DNA40 charger, so the new DNA60 charger is not a drop in fit as it is slightly larger.

I was just playing with Tibs, I have plenty of screws. Her counting those tiny screws for a co-op is an old running joke.

Now that I see that pic I remember those tiny, tiny screws. I would NOT want to have to count those tibs! Yikes!

Well if I have anything you can use Mike your welcome to it, I applaud you doing the tests and I'm greatly interested in your findings. I'm all ears on any info that would make vaping as safe as it can be. Thank you!

I have some assorted boards I took from cloned mods that I put DNA boards in, they worked so I couldn't get myself to throw them away even though they were before TC came along. If your interested in those I'll ship them off to you.

BTW, I found an old bottle of black-raspberry flavoring I got from My Freedom Smokes a few years ago, it's clear as water. It's a really nice flavor and one you can mix and vape, steeping doesn't improve it at all, it's the only juice I've used that doesn't crud up the coils in a 2-3 days, I'm running the same build after 120ml and there is just a tiny hint of crud starting to form on the coils, wicks are still white. It only takes 15 drops to 60ml to make a nice tasty juice, I have 3/4 of a 15ml bottle left so it will last me a while but unfortunately MFS doesn't make or sell it anymore. My old stand by ADV has always been Uncle Junks Jon Wayne, a slightly sweet tobacco base juice. I absolutely love the complex flavors but even cut 50/50 with flavorless it will junk coils in two days, if I try to stretch it to day three I just can't vape the dirty coil anymore. Don't know what your testing plans are but if you ever decide to test juice that cruds quickly against those that don't I'll send you some of the Jon Wayne.

Not impressed with Loctite 480 (black), see coverage on white piece at bottom.
Its made for dual 18650 but I think I might be able to a 6A Lipo in it.

The buttons will need to be tweaked, but the biggest challenges will be fitting the larger charger.

The Merlins have grown on me.
So just how many are grown on you now?
I'm putting a lot of miles on the +'s lately :) Boy they are a great atty! tank after tank solid as the day is long.
I officially have 0 dual coil atty's in rotation any more.

Like a fungus?
More like laziness. One coil is easier than 2. With 1 coil in a Merlin I can get an equivalent vape to 2 coils in a Mizer.

I can get a damn good vape out of either one, but 1 is easier than 2.

Ummmmmmm, not sure, ~10 with what I just ordered. At $17 they are a deal in my eyes.

Is it just me, it seems that most anything I order from FT is always "3 business days" or some variant, virtually nothing in stock. Right now I have 5 different support tickets for delayed shipments there, and each one of them says:
" For your information, it is better to choose an item which shows on our website as “ships next day” thus we can ship it soon."

The problem is none of the good stuff never says "ships next day".

You know I actually understand their business model and accept that its part of getting the good deals, but it is almost insulting to get the "it is better to choose" speech. Just tell me there is a delay and be done with it......
