Have you guys seen this new high mg nic "salt" ejuice? It's has a warning that it's made to be used in atty's designed for it, "Do not use in sub ohm atty's". I keep seeing the sales pitch, "Get your nic hit quicker."

You know, it's not going to help the vaping community when someone dies from a nic overdose. Or some little kid dies because they got into it. I think it was a stupid idea to ever come out with this stuff.

Just placed another order with that ebay seller, I discovered something I wish I had noticed before, he has two listing for those Hana reference mod kits, links below. Pick no engraving, include the lipo, then notice the price is $10 for some and $20 for others depending on what color you pick! I also noticed a couple of them, it's $10 in one listing and $20 in the other, most of them are $10! Could be why he's throwing us a bone with the orders.
HANA MODZ DNA 250 200 75 Do It Yourself (DIY) kit 11 colors. *Free Battery* incl | eBay
HANA MODZ DNA 250 200 75 Do It Yourself ( DIY ) Mod kit Billet 11 colors | eBay

I was going to order a few more spare lipo's for $10, until I discovered I can get the whole kit with the lipo for the same price!

He's sold out of the V4 mod I'm putting a 60 in--> Hana Modz V4 DNA 40 *Authentic* Navy Blue MOD *BLOWOUT SALE* | eBay but he now has a few of these HANA MODZ V4s DNA 40 DNA 60 DIY KIT *AUTHENTIC* | eBay Basically the same mod but those don't have the bottom battery door, you have to remove the side cover to swap out a battery, also looks like they are small screen mods. I ordered a couple, going to try to fit a 21700 in them, leave them in the mod and charge them by the board. I guess you could put magnets on the side cover, but I've got enough mods now that I don't mind swapping out mods while charging.
Damn you!!!!

I had to go ahead and order 3 more just for the stash kit. At $10 a piece, I cant even buy the 510 and screws for that.

Well, kids eat Tide Pods and they dont take them off the market.

Nic salts arent any more dangerous than the 100mg nic that is readily available. Sooner or later someone will do something stupid and force the 3 letter agencies into their typical over reaction.

Hey Willie, what battery connector comes on that battery? Looks like a bullet style, but the photo is out of focus and doesn't have a clear view.

It's a small JST connector, not sure exactly what to call it. Below are some better pics and a link. I couldn't fit a XT30 in that mod, I tried and there just wasn't enough room, Steamer confirmed the same thing. I already had the JST balance connect solder to the board, I left that and soldered the POS & Neg wires right to the board. You do have to be careful when mounting the live board in the mod not to short it out against the case, I covered exposed parts of the board that could touch with pieces of kapton tape.

LoL!! I know, I ordered more too and I don't "need" them but I can't help myself. It's called how to go broke saving money. I had to try and draw you guys in with me to make myself feel better.

True and that's what I'm afraid of....

I ordered four more, it will make seven for me, they make a nice little mod. I was going to get one more to stash and a couple more lipo's but for the same price I get the whole kit so.... I have three of the Hotcig DX's with three spare battry packs for them, back when we got those they were dirt cheap. Those lipo's are an exact fit for the DX and I planned on stashing them for when the DX's need replacing. The DX's have served me very well, I've used the hell out of them, I use to use two for daily vaping and use the 3rd one to keep the battery packs charged. It is handy to swap out a battery pack when needed, but I've got so many mods now it's a struggle just to keep them all rotated, and now I'm building more LoL. Well it's winter and I'm bored, it's giving me something to tinker with, inside where it's warm.

Perfect example of "lost in translation" that I was talking about recently, got an email for this mod Hotecig.com - ShenRay GEO75 75W TC VW Box Mod - Black Reading the email description of the mod my brain halted as it tried to make sense of this line (describing the 510),
The central position of the pin, can be installs numerous atomisers!

I had an idea on mounting live 200's in those mods, use alignment pins. I'll find some large sewing needles or wire that will slip inside the three board mounting screw holes, snip them off at a length (if it's wire) so they will extend outside the case and use them as alignment pins. Line the three mounting holes in the board up with the pins and slide the board down into the case. This will help guide the board in and if careful, keep the board and any exposed "live" components on the board from touching the mounting pads or sides of the case. Once in, pull one pin, start a screw leaving it loose then repeat.

I've got some stainless steel welding rod/wire in an assortment of sizes starting at .025 (about .6mm), I may find one of those what will fit tight enough. Some years ago while I was at a welding supply shop getting my acetylene tank refilled for my gas torches, I noticed they open boxes of all kinds of welding rod they were selling by the weight, priced by the pound. I asked the guy if he would sell me a just few of each of the different sized stainless rods, he only charged me a few bucks. They come in 3 foot lengths, I knew that wire would be handy for all kinds of tinkering and it has, I go back every once in a while and pick up more. Sitting down, facing forward.
Willie, in the interest of safety I'd say use a round, wooden, toothpick for a guide rather than anything conductive. Just me, being conservative. Any idea if an 18650 batery sled would fit in one of those? I'm perfectly happy at 15-30 watts so a 200 or 250 is real overkill.

I use to buy stainless welding rod to make UHF, beam, antennas from. I built a "long boom" one for two meters, 17 or 19 elements and almost twenty feet long. Problem was the pattern was so "tight" that the wind making the antenna move could drop out signals, even strong, local, signals.

Toothpicks, good idea, I like the way you think!

Only 18650 battery holder I have is from an old Hana 30 clone, I cut one end off for a project, using that one it was a press fit width wise, it sure looks like there is enough room length wise. In the order I placed I also bought a couple of the Hana V4s kits HANA MODZ V4s DNA 40 DNA 60 DIY KIT *AUTHENTIC* | eBay Those come with 18650 holders, should have them by mid next week, I'll try one of those and let you know for sure when it gets here but I'm sure you could make one work with some tweaking.

ETA: You were asking if the holder will fit in one of these, correct? HANA MODZ DNA 250 200 75 Do It Yourself ( DIY ) Mod kit Billet 11 colors | eBay

Yup, thanks, that's the one. I have a Mod Crate DNA75 I built and the size is great. If only it ere a low tank :(

If your thinking about putting a 75 in one of them I'd use three lipo cells wired parallel instead of an 18650, you'll get longer run time. These single cells linked below will make for the same size pack as the lipo's that guy is selling. I'm not brave enough to open one up and resolder the tabs on the lipos, these singles make it easy. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-nano-tech-950mah-1s-25-50c-lipo-pack-walkera-v120-x100.html Don't know if you remember, I used them to make a parallel pack and put a 75 in one of the hotcig dx's some time ago, worked well but there was no gain in run time over the 200 so I pulled it and put the 200 back in.
