Willie for the record I agree with you I think that it should be able to be discussed esp. since it's another form of vaping, & a lot of our tech (TC for example) is coming from that side of things, which ecf has always made a concerted effort to exclude it/separate the two. I don't personally see the need for that but hey, I don't run this place & don't envy those that do.

I'm the first to admit that ecf has some pretty... shall we say peculiar & perplexing rules, but also I know classy doesn't make these rules... if there was a rule to ban everyone that post a pic of their mod in front of a steering wheel (which, there might be, idk), she'd be forced to get rid of about half the members.

no worries - legal in virginia now ;)
Not really, for me anyway it's been way more practical to just cross the bridge into dc for my script. Sucks that my state government would rather have me on mass quantities of opiates instead. Zombies are more docile/obedient, I guess.

I'll take the pressure off you, just sent a request to close my account. See ya around guys, you know where to find me. awsum has my email address.

have a heart, willy, and reconsider ;) pretty sure in any other thread classy would have just deleted the post and to me that is worse than telling you: hey, fix it (with a smiley face)!
somehow, oliver will have to reconsider his stance toward the substance that contains no thc unless he is prepared to let go of a substantial amount of his ad money.
in the meanwhile, mods are caught up in that mess :(

I'm glad that ... isn't allowed to be discussed here in any of it's forms and that profanity is banned as well. If I wanted either of those things in my life I'd be on that other popular forum. That said, it upsets me that broke dick can run adds here with the word bull..... glaring at me in popup adds. There are unfortunately double standards at work here but I have nowhere else to go that's any better.
Hopefully Willie will cool off and come back, if not I will miss his wit and wisdom.

What's a good amount of time to wait for paint to dry before putting panels etc. back on? I don't want it to stick & peel off next time I remove the panel.

I've seen switch plates and outlet plates stick to new paint even after 48hrs. of dry time. Depends on the humidity and wall prep prior to painting. Allow as much dry time as you can stand or 4 days, whichever comes first. We always install those plates last, just before leaving the jobsite.
Tip: Score around switch plates etc with a sharp box cutter before removing them to eliminate paint peeling.

24 hours should definitely do it ;)

But that is the minimum amount and only if you have given it your full and constant visual attention! :)

Allow as much dry time as you can stand or 4 days, whichever comes first.

Which is the alternate to be considered if you left the immediate vicinity for any reason there by failing to

"watch your paint dry". :rolleyes::lol:

Sitting down, facing forward.
Eggshell is a good finish choice. It has a sheen but not a shine. Smooth surfaces and even coating is key to a good appearance though because of that sheen. Not shiny like semi gloss or gloss, but still easy to clean off with everyday cleaners rather than high powered ones.

This new paint dries insanely fast, it's like drying while I'm rolling it on... It's also (the paint we have for all the walls but the bathrooms) this thing called eggshells, which I've also never seen before.

It may seem dry, but as an electrician I can testify that if you don't give it at least a few days to dry before putting on the plates they will stick. Not immediatey but trust me they will over time.

Hey ya'll,

OK, notwithstanding that I also find the rules a bit perplexing (remember, they evolved over the course of many years with multiple admins at the helm) - that's another conversation though...

Regarding these ads - I'm struggling to understand where these ads come from. Our media partners are telling us they're not theirs, and we're excluded from adsense (because Google hates vape).... digging deeper, but totally flummoxed right now...

Guess I need to double check the adserver settings....
