I wasnt putting a lot of stock in the carbon footprint aspects. What intrigued me was they were essentially creating a very high drain bat, if the tech trickled down it could be good for us.
I mentioned that carbon footprint because it's never discussed when talking about alternative energy sources. Then there is always the carbon footprint required to charge those batteries.
The next consideration would be the cost. Somehow, I suspect they are using cryogenics to generate enough of a magnetic field to align the molecules/atoms. That ain't cheap to do. If it can be done commercially and at a reasonable cost it would be nice, but a 20 to 30 amp max drain battery work fine for me. That's available everywhere now.
Overall it does seem a little ironic. Power an airplane with lithium ion batteries while the airlines, and FAA, are trying not to let them on aircraft in the first place.

Kind of reminds me of the cost that's still undetermined for nuclear waste disposal.

I twisted up some 2 strand NiFe 48 26 gauge a couple of days back, seem to work well in one of my TGT4's.
I'm expecting my Ambition's C-roll tomorrow, I'll try some in there.

My TGT4 was running out of juice So Fast with a Ti clapton, I tried a simple round wire Ti coil.
It works really Good with just a simple round wire coil. Still use's juice at an unprecedented Pace!

I'm betting it has to do with making things for "other" kinds of "vaping", maybe for making round screens from brass screen stock? Found their website Shenzhen Haopu Information Technology Co., Ltd. while they make things for our kind of vaping they also make other stuff, this picture was one on the home page.
No C-roll delivered as yet, should have had it yesterday or today. It arrived in San Diego Monday morning at 3 AM, it departed Tuesday afternoon...........will see later where it thinks it's going.

Today tracking says my C-roll left San Diego this morning at 4:58 am, then later it said it left at 5:55 am (that' 3 times that it says it left. Anyway it's now out for delivery. That the 1st order, the 3rd one arrived at my local PO with the first one but it says "in transit", the 2nd order hit San Diego a few minutes ago. If it wasn't for the fact that one went to LA customs, another to San Francisco customs and the other one to NYC customs I would have thought they all came on the same cargo ship...LOL.
