Got thinking more about it and left out that the A&W and miniature golf are still there, although it looks nothing much like it did back in the early sixties here google street view of the area. Google Maps
There is an A&W here too that has been here as long as I remember. I believe this one is family owned and they must be snowbirds. As they are only open about 4 months in the summer per year. Does yours stay open year around? Yours has a huge parking lot compared to the one here.

Yes this one is open all year round, last I knew it too was handed down and owned by the same family, Italians, nice folks. Love their root beer and they make the best chili dogs.

Another fun place that my parents hung at when they were teenagers, where I did when I was a teenager, is an old fashion carhop called Superdawg. It has been around since 1948. Sometimes they have classic car night and it really takes you back to the 50's.

Superdawg® drive-in

They have been on many TV programs, even in one Chevy commercial back in '89.

Mission Impossible Fallout has been taken down from the news servers about as fast as it was put up. Got me a good copy this morning though.

Very spamy pop-ups here, even with ublock, some of them you won't want kids to see. Watch Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018) Full Movie on FMovies.to Using Torch browser with the built in media downloader you can create a huge library at that website, depending on how much hard drive space do you have. ;) Torch is just Chrome with the media downloader added.
Couple other notes on ffmovies;
Some of the current releases are from people who snuck video camera's into the theater, very poor quaintly with back ground noises of people eating popcorn.
Some of the servers hosting the video's won't allow downloading, Streamango usually works.

Now we have Sonic's popping up around here, what was old is new again. Wish they would bring back the drive-in theaters. Combine a Sonic and a drive-in, now that would be cool. :)

Sitting down, facing forward.
Yeah, the local weather guessers are calling for snow/rain mix and maybe some freezing rain or sleet for tomorrow. The real weather forecaster, Joe Busardy who prompted me to buy an electric snow shove (the only thing left in Home Despot that day) before we got over two feet when the locals were calling for two to six inches, is calling for two to four inches of wet, heavy crap tomorrow. Not enough for the snowblower here anyway.

My project to move the wood chips left over from having trees removed has been on hold. One of the tires on the cart blew out. I went to Tractor Supply and all they had were highway rated tires in the size I needed and they were expensive and would need tubes. So I ordered two "never flat" tires from Amazon, more expensive than the highway rated but they can't go flat being full of polyfoam.

Amazon seems to be switching their delivery services, around here anyway, from USPS/FedX/DHL to "Amazon Logistics". They have a ways to go. The tires made it to NJ by Sunday, and should have been delivered on Sunday but didn't show up until 7:30 Monday night. Prime ain't what it used to be or is supposed to be.

I had another Amazon delivery, yesterday, and it was "Amazon Logistics" again. This time the driver made a "U" turn at the top of the driveway by backing up onto the lawn on one side then swinging wide onto the lawn on the other side. The driveway is straight, from one end to the other, so backing up should be no problem. Granted, my lawn isn't much but it's still my lawn and I don't need tire tracks to fix added to the rest of the work I'm doing on it.

I'd complain about the lawn, that's BS. I've been told that a lot of these delivery services have policies the drivers are not supposed to enter residence driveways but rather park on the side of the road, probably for that reason. I know the local post master told me their drivers are not supposed to enter driveway's unless they have permission from the home owners.

Yeah, can't really go by weather predictions, it's a toss of the dice what you'll really get. But around here we do have large lakes all around us and we get a lot of lake effect snow. I need to get the blower on anyways, I'll need it at some point and I rather not be installing it while the snow is falling.
