Mine are so tight in the coil that if much tighter it would mess up the coil. It sort of "chatters" (squeaks) when pulled through. If I don't get it that tight I can't get my expected wattage as it hits my temp setting too quick.
I roll it, probably looser than you. Then I pull it threw until it won't go anymore and pull both ends tight so it stretches and slide right and left until it starts pulling threw again. This seems to work well for me. I just have been going thinner and thinner with each wicking and I went too thin last time. Heck when I pulled out the leaking wicking, it slid out of there like a wet noodle.Never mind, I see, well it would depend on just how tight that you rolled it. For a 3 mm ID I use a full piece also but I roll it tight and it lengthens it till it fits.
Could try heating the metal, might expand just enough to ease it's grip on the glass. A drop of some kind of lube above the threads and let it wick it might help too.
It was actually much easier to fix than I thought it was going to be. I vaped it dry, removed the top section of the tank and coil base. This allowed me to slide the glass chimney out from the top leaving just the tank and bottom section.Threaded Glass, bottom air flow, 2 big reasons I passed on it
IDK about the heat! I would lube the heck out of the threads, before trying to take it apart!
Try injecting some VG into the threads with a syringe?
Who knows maybe you'l get lucky & the glass won't break?
Lightning Vapes. They had the Alien coils too. The pricing on T1 26g was odd too. $1.75 for 25 feet or $7.94 for 50 feet??? Two 25 foot rolls is half of the price of one 50 foot roll.Where'd you get your Ti wire from, Bill?
Oh no problems with TFR/TCR. Although I just didn't notice anything special with it while vaping. The stuff from Temco is very easy to work with and the stock TCR curves in a DNA seem to work really well with it.
Oh you try to stab yourself with nickel wire, but nothing is going to happen.I've give myself more than one "blood sample poke" in the finger tips, but that's true of any wire.
BT acquires BV, it was inevitable.
Same old story, new technology.
They will line their pockets well.
It should be safer for us, as long as they dont play chemistry with the juice.
BT/BV wont be getting any more of my cash..........
I will buy a lathe or small CNC first and build my own damn attys!
I am already self sufficient for everything else.
Probably have enough attys to last my lifetime anyway.![]()
That reminds me of:VEOLV (EVOLV) LOL
I don't wish to admit just how many times I looked at this page before "getting it" only this morning.
I am just speculating here. But I would guess Lost Vape was getting exclusive pricing on Evolv boards, since Lost Vape had used their boards mostly exclusively. But once Lost Vape came out with the Orion Q without a DNA board, they lost their exclusive pricing with Evolv. So maybe closer to the truth is Lost Vape is having a difficult time with getting exclusive pricing from Evolv.I just went over yonder and put a thousand of 'em in my cart, looked like a go.
