Looking back I wish I had gotten my license. I went to a High School with a flying program. We all did ground school at school, and I got to fly, but never land or takeoff. Lessons in Cherokee 140's just because they had the low wings. All VFR, but one buddy, his Dad flew commercial, and would let his son bring up and use his Aztec twin engine. He had his IFR rating, and we'd fly all over. Cool.

So besides a new laptop I should consider some new glasses. My laptop is to arrive on Thursday, not tomorrow Thursday, next week Thursday.....it said May 2nd the whole time. Must be coming from China.

Which laptop did you get? I just remembered why I can't get a new computer. As I would lose the ability of running 3 computers at once.

Wow! You get a lot for the price.

No, it isn't because of the lack of outlets. But it does have to do with cables. This machine has 4 USB ports on the dock and four more on the laptop. So that is 8 USB ports available. Plus my monitor has 3 video inputs. VGA, DVI, and HDMI. This dock is using the VGA one while 2 other computers are using the other two. So the replacement needs to do VGA. And I am sure Windows 10 won't work with much of my stuff and I would have to buy all new stuff again.

When my high end Surface Pro dies an agonizing death by over heating I was about three quarters retired. I bought a refurbished Dell E6430 with Windows 7 on it. I later installed dual boot with Linux Mint. I have been very satisfied with a, not long ago, high end computer. I hope you have the same experience with yours as I have had with mine.
One of these days, I am going to get an SSD and put that in - it will fly.

I put SSD in these 8 laptops in about 2013 and the drive speeds tripled.

I decided to look into re flowing the video chip on my old laptop this morning. I got into it pretty good, far enough to see that I didn't want to go any farther. I've replaced a few motherboards in laptops before but this one would be a real bear to remove and reinstall. With the added time waiting for the new laptop to arrive I don't think I can hold myself back much longer from working on the desktop.

I haven't been using my 250C's for the last few days, they were at 100% charge at the start of their break now they are 82 - 85%, is this normal?

Don't know about Normal, but Steamer thinks so, and IIRC mine was ~4% loss per day. Not sure when I last used mine, but it was put away full @16.8v, and right now it's @16.27v

All of mine do it Every single one, 3S, 4S, dual 18650, dual 20700! It's not an isolated thing, so it's normal Personally I'm not happy about it, but what can I do?

Depends on firmware version? Remember I don't update unless I have to.

So I got into my desktop, still have at least one of the two problems, will know more as work time got in the way.
What I have going on yet it the pcie slot closest to the cpu doesn't work after video drivers load. I messed with this before trying a different card in the slot with the same results. The other problem that may or may not be there is 2 of the memory slots are not working.

I just checked, all 3 Paranormals and the Drones are running firmware 1.1 service pack 35 (all two cell). But all 3 Triades are running firmware 1.1 service pack 33 (all 3 cell). So that doesn't explain anything. Hardware version perhaps?

And what about those 75C boards? I haven't paid much attention to them concerning battery drain. My oldest ones I pulled the batteries out. My newer ones I haven't had long enough to tell yet.
