I was watching a review for Haku Xeta when I noticed a review for this, another DNA60 although it has a USB port it still won't connect to EScribe. There is to be a Dicodes version as wall as a DNA75C version (surely the 75C will do EScribe???) At the current pricing I will have to wait for the clone version.

All my white screens were from the very first batch also. I have several in service all working fine, if you over look the battery drain & the deep sleep problems :(

Well, it does go well with the mod color...

First time I've seen a white screen, is it the beginning of he screen dying or do they just stay like that?

Love that thyme, what's the name of that one and did you download in from the Evolv forum?

Ya that's the beginning of the death screen, it goes all white :(
It started Friday, I did a Hard Reboot & it was normal all weekend.
Back at work today & the inevitable has occurred :(
The theme is from Ginger Vaper, the Boxer theme. Yes it can be D/L'ed at the Evolv forum

I'l let it go till the weekend, I ordered new batteries for the "Work Mods" My lipo's are getting a bit swollen! I'l swap out the screen & batteries at the same time :)

well, i need help again
the dell latitude d820 that contains an accounting program that i desperately need to use right now is no longer charging the battery or powering up when plugged in. google and plenty of other people assure me it's either the charging dock or the motherboard. my battery is down to 40 minutes of life so i was looking at ebay at used d820s just to have a way to charge my battery ;) most of them are gutted and i have no idea if a laptop will charge a battery without hdd and/or operating system.
Dell D820 for sale | eBay
can somebody help? :(

It is possibly just the charger that's bad but you would need another one to see.

If the used laptop is the exact same model as yours, you can move your hard drive, ram and battery over to it and it should power up and work without a hitch.
tried it with 2 other chargers - same results :(
i would use the used one as a charging dock only ;) i need that program just a few times a year and a full battery would get me through each session

Well if it charges up your battery then it should be a cheap solution. The laptop should charge the battery as long as it will power up. It doesn't require an OS to boot as charging is a basic hardware function.
