Heck yeah, 2 panel 6-0 x 6-8 double pane patio doors can really put the hurt on ya without the right tool. It's called a shoulder dolly and it keeps us from breaking body parts.

What's a seacan? Not a term I'm familiar with.

Edit: nevermind, a "sea can", got it.

If your new printer has a wired connection, you may have to connect your 5 GHZ wireless printer to your router direct. All your wired and wireless connections should still be able to connect to it. Just a thought.

Thanks for the reply :) The new one I got does Not have a wired port either.
I liked that it has ink tanks instead of cartridges, but none of that matters if I cant use my Modem/ Router in 5GHz. I'l start a new search & make sure the one I choose has a wired port just incase :)

So just what model wireless router do you have? I've been looking at some new ones and they are all dual or tri band.
When I set up mine (an Apple) I thought at first it was only single band but then I finally located the settings, it was a couple years old when I got it.
Where I work I "acquire" stuff quite regularly. (discarded by the residents, they are rich folks)

Does that mean only one or the other band?

Now that I have fixed the slow WiFi issue, I can't go back! I have to find away to get a printer to work. I like our router & hate my old printer, so a new router is not really an option :(
I'm going to try and find a printer with a wired connection, So if I cant get 5GHz on Wi Fi I can wire it in

At work I have a wireless router in my office that I ran a cable to another wireless router in another location. I could probably come up with the link for the directions on how to configure it. You could run 2.4 off your old one and add a new 5 ghz router. It was real easy

Pick your printer and download the manual from the comfort of your chair.

I thought about that, but that has me buying another router & still replacing our old printer. There has to be away I can just get a new printer & still keep my router running at 5GHZ.

Part of me wishes I had your problem, part of me is damn glad I don't because they'd be charging me even more! I'm use to what I've had for years so for me it's all a non-issue, it is what it is.

As good as it gets here (ETA: That's cable direct to modem, not wifi), just a year ago 15MB was the best you could hope for, but since we've had upgrades! Wooo wee!! $200 a month gets you this, a "free" to use DVR and 180 TV channels, about 10 of them are worth watching.... No HBO or anything like that.

I feel like Kevin Bacon grabbing my ankles, Thank You Sir, may I have another.

This is a newer version of our old printer Find a Epson WorkForce WF-7720 All-In-One Printer (C11CG37201) at Staples.ca. Read reviews to learn about the top-rated Epson WorkForce WF-7720 All-In-One Printer (C11CG37201). It's on sale $100 off plus they will give an extra $50 off for an old trade in :) Thats half price & it has a wired port :) It's a big huge unit, & still use's expensive cartridges. Our old one did work good for several years, now it's just old!
I have a Workforce 520, must be at least 5 years old. I use nothing but Ebay ink carts, maybe $15 for enough to change twice plus a couple extra blacks.
