I know there are some computer geeks here so I'm going to describe something that has me pulling my hair out. Microsoft Server 2003 clean install.
OMG!

I probably shouldn't try to help since the server edition is out of my league. But the first thing that jumps out is your Host file. You might not have one. If you do, add an extension like Host.txt or something and reboot. If it works, something is wrong in the file.

I know there are some computer geeks here so I'm going to describe something that has me pulling my hair out. Microsoft Server 2003 clean install. No active directory or DNS installed yet. 2 NIC's that are not the same brand. Both pass muster with the built in networking testing app. TCP/IP settings appear standard. No firewall, enhanced internet security removed. I can ping my router and external websites both by IP and web address. IE pinging www.google.com resolves the correct IP and tracert shows the complete path. But for the life of me I cannot get internet, not even able to activate Windows online with the built in activation. Same with either NIC and either with a switch between my router and NIC or straight connection. I know it's not explorer as firefox also will not bring up any website. I have done 3 clean installs now with the same result. First one I propagated DC and DNS to start building active directory with client computers and users then learned I couldn't connect with either nic to the web. I normally use 1 nic for WAN and 1 for intranet. Started from scratch after that knowing I would have to fix the WAN problem and having AD and DNS installed could make it tougher. I have exhausted my googlefu and banged my head enough I'm almost ready to admit defeat. Any suggestions?
I had sort of a similar situation awhile back. For some reason I was only getting IPv6 and no ipv4. A few web sites would work but most didn't.

2 NIC's that are not the same brand.
If you haven't already, disable one nic and test with just one nic active. IPCONFIG /ALL to see what your IP setting are. ROUTE PRINT to see the interface any 0.0.0.0 addresses are going to. Should be the same interface you have configured with the correct gateway for INTERNET access. I've see issues with NetBIOS over TCP/IP causing issues like this. Resolved by using "device Manager" and with "Show Hidden Devices" look at your Network adapters. If nothing sticks out delete both NICs and rediscover. Could be a mix-up in the registry. 2003 is going back and I can't remember if Windows firewall used a service called "Base Filtering Engine", but if Windows FW is disabled and shutdown and this is not, you could see similar problems. Oh yea, "tracert" to say google.com will also tell you the path taken responding with the outbound interface of a device, but your ping resolves tells me your getting there and back. You have a fun one.

NY flavor ban paused, judge rules they need to prove deaths were directly related to flavors.

Woo hoo!! While that's great news and if stayed will SAVE LIVES, my question is who's going to repay the NY vaping shops who lost money and were damaged by Cuomo? You know damn well there were shops that sold off stock at lower than cost just to recoup some investment before the ban went into effect on Monday. I hope there are lawyer's out there that can find a way to sue for damages even though the money will come from us, the tax payer's. I wish they could sue Cuomo personally, that would be justice.

So I set up one of the (styled) Xeta's, largest air insert installed in chimney and the one with 4 holes under the coil. 2.7 mm ID twisted SS430.
I was concerned if I was going to have to use the wick hole reducing screws since the coil isn't all that large but didn't need to, at least not so far. I first loaded it with thicker juice but ended up dumping that for thinner juice as it was hitting temp rather quickly. Pretty easy to build on.
Still testing, I guess it will go to work tonight, the BB's have seen almost no use since the Xvostick arrived. My drop kit for my Skyline (styled) is having similar problems as Steamer's, it seems to have gone in and out of US Custom a few times.

I'm still having problems with my Xeta hitting temp too easy. I'm thinking that my original idea as to how the wick screws function is wrong. I thought one would run them up to make the wick hole smaller but now I'm thinking they need to be removed to make the holes larger. I must admit they were getting me confused as to how they were suppose to work from the first sight of them. Now if I can locate a small enough Allen key here at work.

The whole wicking Chanel screws was a question mark to Me when I was looking at the Xeta. I couldn't figure why they are necessary?
I would have thought the wick would come right thru like the Exocet?
Hitting Temp too fast is usually a wicking issue.

I'm going to push some of the protruding tails to the inside and give that a shot. If that doesn't do it I'm going to remove the air disc but I'm pretty sure it's getting enough air.
