As you can see SlickWilly, it looks like Gearbest only has one roll left. If you don't have any luck, you can PM me here or other places you know me at with your address. Then I'll try to order it and ship it to you. If they won't let me, I'll just send it here and just resend it to you. ;)

I suppose before ordering air disc sets for my Skylines to get some bigger ones I probably should have tried one with no disc installed.
Still haven't received them as yet so I thought I would give one a try without a disc. OK need the discs, no disc is too loose.
Not too bad though.

Willie, it may be a function of the physical address and not the IP. Me thinks Comrade Cuomo may have a finger or two in your problem.

Ah, it just hit me, a few months ago a new Cuomo law went into effect requiring online sellers shipping to NY, they must collect NYS sales tax and send it to NY. Any online purchases I've made since then I've had to pay sales tax on, gearbest may have just said the heck with it and stopped selling to NY. Damn it Cuomo... :-x

Thanks Bill, I sent you a PM, read it before ordering for me, if you still use it order that last roll for yourself. It may be the last of it that we'll see. Those rolls of that Ni clapton are not shown on the Focusecig companies website, only in "Rods", lengths of straight wire sold in a tube. Doubt NI Clapton is a big seller and who knows if GB or FT will restock with the new packaging, may well be Ni clapton is now a thing of the past for us here in the states.

As long as they sell Ni or Ti wire, I will have me my claptons......

That's kind of what I was thinking of trying if this Ni Clapton wire becomes unavailable. I don't really want to go there and mess with it but I really, really like this Ni clapton wire. I've tried stainless and Ti wires and they just don't perform as well "for me", I just get better flavor with Ni wire. Kanthal I liked, did try Kanthal clapton wire and it was nice but then I'd have to give up TC and I don't want to do that either, especially with clapton coils. Staying under 470F, in that safety zone, even if it's only a mental advantage I just rather try and keep my vaping as safe as it can be.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I tried nickle early on with TC and had a problem with the taste, besides it being a PITA to work with. For some reason I tried it again in a DNA40 I have and it's working like a champ. Maybe my taste buds have degraded even further, who knows. I've tried Clapton wires and can't say I'm a big fan. They're all from vendors, not roll your own, so I may try spinning some up just for fun using a Ti core and kanthal wrap.

I always. Liked. Ni. It’s just a hassle to work with:(
I know it don’t work in TC. But. Ni80. Is really good wire, beats. The heck out of. Kanthol. IMO
The tempered Ni200 is the only way to go, night and day between the soft nickle wire, if anything it's too stiff/springy. When wrapping on a mandrel it has "spring back" no matter how tight you wrap so you have to account for it and use a tad smaller mandrel.

You're not alone, I've read others get a metal taste using it, I think it depends on the person. Other's have also said Ti gives better taste yet I get muted. May be the way different people build too?

That Ni200 clapton is not a huge wrapped coil, I'd rather not deal with real big wire, but that Ni200 clapton preforms so much better then solid core nickle. I had to go back to solid wire for a few days while waiting for the clapton to show and it wasn't very satisfying. The down side with the clapton is because of all those little groves in the wrap it cruds up faster than solid but it only takes a few minuets to build and stuff a coil on those Merlin decks. I love those Merlins, rarely use the mizers anymore.

BTW, these 510 screws are perfect for those Merlins! $4.20 Replacement Contact Screw for Atomizers (50-Pack) 50-pack - M2.5*9.5mm / copper at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping They are a tad longer on both ends, a little more threads but that's a good thing. And the heads are a tad thicker and stick out a little, I just filed them down. Was surprised, they are a quality screw, nicely made with nice threads and consistent, not a bad one in the bunch, have a lifetime supply now.

I dropped the mods with the Merlins on them a few times, if it hits the tank when dropped it can pull on that pressed in deck in the base of these Merlins. Each time I dropped mine I picked it up and the tanks was tilted because that deck was knocked out of whack. I had to put the base in the vise and press that deck back in to seat it fully and square. When they get knocked and tilted like that it pulls on the threads of that brass 510 screw and there is only a few threads that reach up into that base, that's how I ruined them in mine, Mr. Fumbles

I think I had that taste once or twice. But I had a bad taste from SS too. It wasn't oil, dirt or anything on the wire. I don't know what causes this to happen.
besides it being a PITA to work with.
Not to me, it is so easy to work with. You don't even need any tools to bend and form it into any shape you want to.

Yeah, it bends and shapes nicely, but getting enough rayon through a nickle coil can be problematic.
Okay here is what I do. Twist it tight like you are wringing out a wet towel. Then slowly untwist it once in the coil. Okay, that's the wrong way to work with Rayon, right?
