Where yours says "CC" mine says Cricket. Perhaps it varies by provider. Mine was ios13.2 something, it's updating to 13.2 now.

Yes CC means Consumer Cellular. My iPhone won't show a new update unless I turn on WiFi long enough for it to see it. Mine is usually off. If I had a choice, I'd go back to iOS10.

On my SE: Settings/Cellular/Calls on Other devices.
It seems to have to do with the settings on the iPhone that I use (the SE) and both phones be near by each other and both signed into iCloud with the same account and on the same WiFi.
From what I see I should have been able to make calls out on the one without the SIM but it failed.

ha! i finally can contribute! you can make calls but only to other iphones by using apple's facetime audio while on wifi. i figured that out trying to get some use out of the 6s my boy insisted i should have almost 2 years ago - no sim needed. atm i mostly use it to download podcasts and play them when on the road

My wife got me one of these for Christmas two years ago, I absolutely love it, I use it for my computer and watch TV a lot on it. Actually this is the newer version, mine didn't come with the remote and had no speakers but I have surround sound speakers anyways. I added this HDMI switch, rolled the dice for $11 but it's worked perfectly to switch between the computer, RUKO and the security DVR.

I used double sided tape to hide it on the back of the monitor and used the included remote IR extension, have it peeking out on the bottom of the monitor.

ETA: I also ordered some of these "AmazonBasics" HDMI cables, good price and they work great, quality cable.

It’s amazing how much more detail one can extract from videos games sound effects when using a quality DAC. My Black Ops kill streaks improved dramatically once I fed the sound through my stereo DAC. I could hear the little trolls sneaking up on me. Snot nosed buggers still kicked my a** but at least I would manage to get in a kill or 2.
