hello, my name is Ed,and my wife and i quit smoking just over 3 years ago.I did it cold turkey, she used Chantix.Niether one of us have picked it back up since.I never quit wanting my nic fix even years later.I bought a joy ego kit last week and started with cherry, 0% nicotine,it was pretty amazing.ive since bought marlboro0% and a wild berry 24mg. ive been vaping nonstop for days now and im loving it.I really missed smoking, and this is so much nicer, cleaner, and healthier.lets hear a big WAHOOOOOOO for the e-cigs! I believe they should outright ban tobacco use, just for the health reasons alone. The government ought to implement free ecigs and juice to all and save millions of lives!.Although i did buy nicotine,im glad i did, because the nicotine really adds to the th and the lung feel.I hope to make some friends here, maybe even some local ones if theres anyone on here from Indy.!peace out, Edward:vapor:

Love the ecig and juice with lots of passion too, the one caveat I will add is nic will make you feel worse in the morning if you are a part time vaper/nic user(when you are out), as opposed to no nic ejuice.Dont get me wrong "this (ecig/pv) is it".Its a name of a long forgotten strip joint with the same name that I miss 1 zillion times more that cigs called "this is it".I was there one night where mayor marion barry got in trouble doing bad things there.

Hate to disagree with you ED-but the government should keep their nose out of our business. They should give us true facts about the dangers of smoking but should not be banning anything I want to do with my body. I have been analog free for 15 months now and vape only but they want to ban that too. So why should they have the power to do either just because I know smoking is bad. Educate the masses and let them make an informed decision, If they had done that when I started and showed better alternatives it may have saved me alot of pain. Remember how well prohibition worked-it only made criminals rich LOL

Amazing how they can threaten to ban vaping but will keep the real ones legal! Seriously, this just proves it's only about money and nothing about public health. Heck, ...... and crack combined don't kill as many people as cigarettes do! Yet absolutely no health problems have arisen so far with vaping...amazing...

You know, I can actually consider some concerns of electronic cigarettes fair and maybe coming from nothing more than concern.

PG has been deemed safe, even in the form of fog machines, but occasional fog doesn't compare to regular direct inhalation. So yeah, maybe there's something. Anywhere near cigarettes? Highly doubtful, but it's not necessarily a good thing for the FDA to use the single most dangerous thing out there as the sole measure if the unit is not marketted as a smoking cessation device. Fine. Fair enough.

Maybe osmosis effects of water being harmful to lung tissue? Well it's not all water vapor. Probably no issue there. But whatever, if there's a possible risk over the long term, look into it.

The possibility of ecigs being luring those who normally wouldn't smoke into smoking, regulations to ensure the ingredients and nicotine levels are as advertised, all good by me.

I can see some aspect of ecigs which I'd like to see held to scrutiny for the people's benefit.

Do I think that's the FDA's agenda, no.

While the FDA may indeed be able to come up with valid concerns regarding the product on its own merits and not as compared to smoking real cigarettes, the idea that's the case gets tossed aside when the American LUNG Association comes out against e-cigarettes. The ALA?! Seriously. Any potential credibility on worries about electronic cigarettes gets tossed out the window.
