I have a similar feeling... it's a tough call on this stuff given the Chinese business culture.

On one hand this could just be a temporary knee jerk reaction from some bureaucrat due to an incident or a potential new security threat. Then this goes away quickly due to the mountains for shipments piling up and local businesses raising a stink... High probability that I think FT is banking on. But I think they are playing a dangerous gamble on losing business if this doesn't get resolved quickly.

On the other hand it's poor business to keep accepting, packaging and shipping orders that most likely will get rejected. That will cost FT a ton in extra handling and labor cost... plus refunds... quickly followed by loss of customers as the word gets around.

I have an order "stuck" in Hong Kong post... luckily no batteries or juice. Thankfully nothing I need quickly. I don't buy juice from them but have bought their starter kits as gifts for others who I'm trying to lure into this vaping realm... ;)

We'll see how this plays out...

I like the conspiracy theorist in you xD

Looks like my MVP2 has passed the scan test and is past the acceptance stage and is into the Processed Through Sort Facility stage. This is good news. Hopefully, it will soon go into the departed stage and be heading to SF. Funny though that the tank I ordered a week and a half earlier is still sitting there in the acceptance stage. I'm not as concerned about getting the tank though....the mod is what I'm really needing to get here...

Looks like my FT Aug 31 order (contains some clearos, batteries, and starter kit) has some activity today, which is a good sign , unless it just means its been examined, processed and being returned to FastTech..but hopefully, its being air mailed and put on a plane now headed to San Francisco...

it has USPS tracking and HAD stated "origin post is preparing shipment - Acceptance" since Sept 4 until this morning when it changed to:

NOW that status has changed today to

Processed Through Sort Facility

HONG KONG AIR MAIL CENTRE, HONG KONG

Maybe things are improving and everything is not on a HOLD status any longer at customs, and finally moving along...

Ordered SVD(1 item)through fasttech Aug. 25
Shipped Aug. 29
Processed through San Francisco Sept. 2 and no activity since.
It's been stuck for 11 days now, thought the shipping through China was typical (1 week) but the holdup in San Francisco is almost twice as long, Florida being the final destination. I'll wait a couple more days before making any inquiries.

I placed my order 9/3 knowing it'll take a while to get to me.....after all, it's coming from FT which isn't that fast.
With that in mind, I'm not worried about the additional delay....not like I was going to get it fast to begin with.

FT prices are the allure but if it means I have to pay more to get my stuff in a few days VS a few weeks then I'll just go back to the online vendors I was using.

A delay wouldn't really bother me. FT ships fast imho. Most free shipping from china takes like a month and a half for me. FT usually gets to me in 8 days.

What I'm worried about is both my packages being stuck in limbo for an undetermined amount of time and never getting to me because they both contain batteries and/or liquid amongst my other supplies. :-(
