GG has all of them (fuse will be an update very soon). Now batteries cant explode and they cant get even hot.

just to let you know...the AW CR123a batteries already have a fuse of sorts...it's called a PTC module in addition to it's PCB..well they don't call it a fuse but here's the write up about them:

- New Anti-expolsion Vent/PTC Module : the new module provides an added layer of protection against gas built-up in addition to the PTC thermal protection. Unlike regular vents used by most LiIon cells, these new modules will actually stop the action by separating the electrodes inside the battery when the pressure reaches a preset threshold. The vent disc will open and release the gas plus stopping the cell from further chemical reaction. Combined with the PCB electronic protection and two layers of mechanical ( thermal and pressure ) protection, these new protected R123s are the first with these added safey features in place.

Granted from what I'm seeing it's only in the R123 size..but I'd imagine that they'll expand them to their other sizes at some point

dont worry friend. Fuses will have a cost of 4 euros , only my cost. But the nice thing is that you will be able to change only the spring so the cost is 0,5

Thanks a lot for the nice info Drozd. But until they expand them to other sizes we will have my fuse for protection.

But even with those batteries we dont protect user from buying cheap ones because he runs out of money or because he dont know those new batteries. So until they be well known on market we still have to protect people.

One more reason for the fuse is that an extra protection even if we use those batteries is not bad at all in case that the battery's protection dont work. We dont need more than one false battery to see bad things happen.

I also dont know if the battery falls from user's hands what will happen to its protection.

I also hope they will stay on market because if they disapear then we need the fuse again xaxaxaxa
