If you like ry4 , there are many variants of it out there. When I first stopped smoking cigarettes I used double ry4. It satisfied the craving, even though it didn't taste the same. I started making my own juice within a month, MUCH cheaper, and a lot of fun too. I got a lot of help here, and I have 300 ml of juice I love, spent about $40 to make it. My favorite is Black Jack (Black and Mild) with a little bit of vanilla (adds a little sweetness, rounds the flavor out.) Never could get into the fruit flavors personally. I love coffee, and anything I was going to use to get off cigarettes had to go well with it.

I sympathise with the OP, I too am having problems finding juice I like. However, I've taken the view that you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your princess and whilst funds allow, I'm happy to keep buying and trying. I have found that making random mixes of some of the flavours I don't like often produces some interesting results.

The best juice I ever had was a mix of all the ends of my bottles. I have been chasing that dragon ever since...

I'm new to vaping as well, and fortunately I haven't run into your problem. I've purchased juices from Vape Dojo (where I got my setup) and Ahlusion. I purchased 2 30ml bottles from both, and all of them were good, but the ones from Ahlusion stood out as being very high quality.

Again I'm new, so I don't have a lot to compare to. But I do recommend checking them out.

Hi yes I've had that. Expirence! I bought a tobacco that tasted like a cigar, I almost puked! I've bought a apple that you couldn't even tell it was apple! It tasted so bad like some sort of chemical! I think we've probably all done it.if you bought it locally I'd bring it back and tell them it's. Unusable because it's so nasty! That's what I did with my apple and I got to pick out a different flavor! It's worth a try because you spent good money hopefully the store will help you out! Best wishes

Depending on how long you have had these juices some may get better with time. Steeping is a common thing with fresh made juices. I steep most everything I get, I've yet to have one not change for the better even if it's good when I get it. You could also try speed steeping it with heat. Heat enough DRY rice to about 200 f. not over as the LDPE bottles will melt somewhere around 236 to 250 f. in a microwave safe container that is deep enough to cover the bottle up to the neck. I use an infrared thermometer or a probe to check it. My micro is 900 watts and it takes about 45 seconds to a minute. remove the lid and dripper top. Then nestle the bottle down into the rice up to the juice line or to the neck of the bottle and leave till room temp. usually takes about 2 to 3 hours for it to cool. Recap and shake the heck out of it. This seems to work well for me. Taste is a personal thing and everybody is different so good luck.

I am where you are. I made a spreadsheet to keep track of what I have tried. If I hear good things from multiple people, I put it on my list for future tries.

When I started, my sense of taste was worthless. It has taken me a couple of three months to get a decent sense of taste.

Someone mentioned that to save flavors. They may taste different in a down the road.

As to trying flavors, I do samplers. Especially if I can choose the flavors. Also, are you steeping?

Let us know.

I got some really good juice from Killer Juice, which is also pretty inexpensive. I can't put the caramel latte down. Steeped it for less than a week. The chocolate/strawberry was also good after a week. Have one more that I haven't tried yet, but am betting it will be good also. I have a ton of juice, some of which I didn't care for, but buying samples is a good way to go until you find something you really like. The e-juice discussion subforum can help a lot in find good vendors and prices and reviews of various juices that people have tried.

I've spent probably 50 bucks on ejuice and I've only had a couple that I like, pomegranate from a local shop and a very tiny sample bottle of ky4. And the rest have just sucked, I got grape, black tea and blue raspberry from myvaporstore. Passionfruit, vanilla swirl, and crunch berry from a local shop. All of these flavors just either taste like perfume or cough medicine.

I'm just getting very discouraged, a cigarette sounds really good right now...

I got my MVP 2 in the mail today with the Iclear 30, and I've gone through like 4 tanks of different flavors and I've had to dump them out and clean the tank then dry it over and over again. Idk what to do, I'm thinking about trying Bobas bounty cuz everyone seems to like it. I'm pretty upset because I've wasted all this money on juice that I'll never use

Maybe I'm just being picky, any advice is appreciated, has anyone else had an experience like this?
There are places on the forum where you can trade ejuice you don't like with other people. Also I would reccomend Zeus Ejuice. I personally really enjoyed Demeters Harvest and Medusa Juice.

Sometimes if you get a chemical taste all you need to do is shake well and take the cap and drip fitting off and leave it sit in a cabinet over night. That will allow some of the alcohol to evaporate. May have to do it a couple of times but that has worked for me when that happens.

Like a lot of folks have stated you might need to steep the juice a bit.

(Note, I have never done this myself, but others on here have I know)... You can research speeding up the steeping process by using a jewelry cleaning device, but the name escapes me. But it's a sonic cleaner for jewelry, that's all I know. As I understand, you put a sealed bottle in there and turn it on. It heats slightly and sonically vibrates. Airing it out also sounds like a good idea.

Good luck, and I hope steeping is all that's necessary for your juice to get better. On another note, your taste buds will likely change, so keep all your juice right now until your palette stabilizes then try again a month down the road.

Best wishes and welcome to the forum.

I must say, for a new vaper, finding ones preferred juice is one of the most frustrating parts about vaping. Flavor is just one aspect of the search. The main thing for me was finding the right VG/PG ratio. Was all over the board till I found high VG was the blend for me. High PG to harsh. But everyone is different. Once the preferred ratio is found, makes finding acceptable flavors much easier. On top of that, need to find the nic level needed to keep one from having to smoke.

Personally, I didn't care for Bobas bounty, but like I said, everyone is different. My fave is Captain Blacks Cinful Delight. Hypnotic Mary is quite nice too.

Buying juice based on a website ad of even a recommendation from other vapers is always a crap shoot. Tastes are different so what I dearly love might taste like the smell of a garbage can to someone else. Tastes are different. Go to a local vape shop sit in their lounge and taste juices until you find something you like, then buy a small bottle, vape it for a while to ensure you've found a keeper, then buy larger qtys
Steeping can turn a poor juice into a favorite (been there dun that, give it a week, had one steep a month).
Testing juice in a normal vaping tank is a PINTA (dump and wash sucks). I use a smoktech 510 atomizer and a friend tip (about $5) for juice sampling.
Good Luck

I've been in the same boat before. I usually try to stay away from berry type flavors. If u like 100% VG Virgin Vapors has some nice tasting liquids...Expensive but organic. I like the Best Damn Tobacco and Thrilla Vanilla. Halo makes some descent flavors but since i only vape VG i don't go there. U could also try a Net vendor if you are looking for something closer to a cigarette or real tobacco. Don't give up just order a sample pack or a small bottle until you find something you like.

I went through the same thing at first, a lot of e-juice out there just plain sucks. Then I found heather's heavenly vapes and fell in love with gandalf, though now the flavor is called Legend. It's from an extracted pipe tobacco and is in my opinion the perfect juice to get you off of cigs. After vaping that for a while I got bored with it and started trying other flavors, sampler packs etc. You won't like all of them but you will like some.

Now that I have a "vapers tongue" I have moved on from HHV to exclusively buying flavors from Alice in Vapeland, it's a little pricey but so worth it. I wouldn't suggest it if you are new though, as the flavors aren't as strong and you might not like it until you're a more experienced vaper.

If the flavors frustrate you, you can always stick to tobacco or menthol. Especially if you have been a heavy smoker, nothing is going to taste right... at first.

I've had some fresh juices taste like perfume, unfortunately this is too common. I just put them away for now, and hope they age a bit and taste better. Older juices, ones that have sat around forever after being made, usually taste better.

I've never found a Chinese juice like Hangsen or Dekang that needed steeping, they must age enough on the boat over. And many of them are decent, and inexpensive.

I've been going through the same thing trying to find the perfect juice for adv. Samplers are the way to go. I found indigo vapors have great tobacco flavors and a cheap pick your own sampler $11 you get 4 little bottles to try. I like the ry, duke , & Eastwood best. I also tried Alice in vapeland samples. 15 ft falls is my favorite from them, but all are good deserts vapes. Good luck on your search and don't get discouraged it's still cheaper than analogs in the long run. Btw I used to smoke Marlb lights and indigo ry is the closest I've found. 5 weeks analog free for me!
