Firefly, it should work, but who has one? For the record, I got a good 103/4081 passthrough from BestEcig for $10.30, I think it was. I also have the one from Trueman. I might venture to say that the one from BestEcig is a tad better quality, but I really haven't used the one from Trueman for anything but testing it, so I can't say that for sure.

I've also heard 3rd or fourth hand that the 510 pcc works with the 4081. It makes sense at least - the batteries are the same gender and diameter, voltage and amperage. The connector has a different thread pitch, but it doesn't look like that matters. We'll soon see, I've just made my first order from ruyandirect, including a 510pcc, but after trying to fall in love with my 510 all week to justify the expense, it's the 4081 that I keep going back to.

I need a 4081/103 passthru now - I picked up a usb battery pack tonight, and with a set of 4 1600mah or better AA batteries in it, that should make a heck of a PV.

If the connector has a different thread pitch, I don't think it will work.

Thank you for all the great info on the Rn4081. I had about given up on this ecig and truthfully it is a very hard draw for me, but it is the most reliable for me also. I'm on the first atomizer and it's been 9 weeks, hasn't gotten as much use the last couple of weeks though since I got a 901. Still I always return to it, the flavors seem stronger on the 4081.

Just to confirm the 4081 battery went right in the 510 pcc and the red charging light is on, perfect fit. The threads didn't matter as it works on a spring action and doesn't screw in at all. Thank you for this info as I really don't like the 510 much and thought the pcc was going to be a waste.

I have a very hard time using mine because of the mouthpiece cart shape. For me it is a work out to get a puff off of it. If there was a whistle cart that would work on it then it would be a really good unit for me.

If you putt a Middletons mini cigar tip on the end it works awesome. I use a swisher tip for the 501 for the same purpose. It also keeps the fluid out of your mouth.

I just tried it. Charging now. It appears to be operating perfectly. I wouldn't have thought to try. Thanks for the idea guys. I should be selling this to SE customers for $100 in SE prices. Just kidding by the way but if they sold it it would be that much.

Atomizer care is a crap shoot. No one really knows a good procedure. Some people clean them out every night and let them drain. Some wash and blow them out on a regular schedule. As for me, I do absolutely nothing to mine. My latest one is going on 3 months and running like a champ, but others who are cleaning regularly them claim 2+ months also. The choice is yours.

Some folks are complaining that their attys only last weeks or days. I honestly think it's the type juice being used, but I can't prove anything.

Got a question about my NPro(4081) one of my batteries seems to stick on and gets the atty real real hot if i dont pay attention. Is this battery shot and just needs to be sent back or is there a fix for it? I have a couple 510s and PCC on the way so im hoping it lasts that long but i really like the NPro and will continue to use it....ive put this atty through heck during this learning curve and it still just works great toke after toke.

after doing a little research and experimenting, I am in agreement about NOT EVER cleaning the attys. They are relatively cheap, and I am going on about 3 months with mine as well. I have three attys, 3 batterys.

And even tho I have dripped on the coil part of the atty, and it is somewhat a better hit, its not enough of a better hit for me to do that consistently and kill the atomizer.

Jim, you're an interesting case study, I think.

You mentioned that you vape unflavored juice these days. How long has that been going on? And, when you were using flavored juice, were your atomizers not lasting as long? IOW, have YOU noticed your attys lasting a longer period of time now than when you used flavored juice? It might be of interest to all us to try to pin down if flavors (and, if so, specifically which flavors) are potential atty killers.
