I'm learning, the hard way, that there is a lot of cloning out there in the vaping world. I purchased a Kanger Protank from fasttech. I can see the glue seeping thru the when I look down into the drip tip. Also, all of a sudden I am tasting a lot of metal. I loved the tank when I first got it, but every refill seems to be worse and worse.

Is it a fake Kanger Protank? Or are they just not as good as I thought they were?

Protank was so popular several companies released their own versions. Some are almost identical. Some have their own distinct differences.

Most use the protank/evod coils and should produce about the same results. After all most of it is just a Reservoir.

Be most careful of which coil heads you purchase. Many cheaply made replacements that do not perform well are out there.

Its almost guaranteed a legit Kanger, especially if it said "Kanger" in the title, whether or not 'authentic' is included in the description. (The generic box PT on FT for ~$12 is legit, although it doesnt say 'authentic').

Regarding the glue, as long as its in the center shaft and not in the tank/coming into contact with your juice, you should be fine.

Regarding the taste, have you been cleaing/dry burning your heads regularly or just filling up with no maintenance? Have you tried a different head to see if the taste remained?
