And that's exactly what I've done. None of my clones have marking, logo's, or fake serial #'s on them.
To me, "Dictating" involves threat of force, violence, or other dire consequences if you don't comply.
So it's OK to spend your money on stolen property -- if it makes you happy?
I love my clone KLF+ V2. Not a fan of my Red Copper LE Stingray clone though. Not because it's inferior, just because I discovered I really don't care for mech mods. Glad I only spent $30.00 on it.
I'm just gonna stick with my Provari.
Amen.... But watch what you say..:
I cannot believe you spent that much on a mod you should have spent 300 dollars on a legit mech
I'm an architect and furniture designer but I don't charge for my design, just for the goods that I produce and sell I do not inflate the prices even if almost everything that I do is just a 1 off and not a long run or batch. If because of ineficiency in my manufacturing my costs rise most people won't buy or go to buy Chinese factory furniture that is cheaper. I do compete with those every day, my prices are on par or a bit lower most of the time...
the modders are either charging a lot or are running a way inefficient and costly process that doesn't justify its price (for me). I don't want to pay much more for their greed or their inefficiency.
if your $200 mod is being sold for $24 what does this mean? someone is doing it much much better than you, so adapt or perish
and I get the whole design, craftsmanship and art, (remember I do that for a living also) but this is just the romantic side of the profession, you need to COMPETE in a fierce global economy where processes and efficiency are key
this is what I do

I don't know if it's allowed to post my site here

THIS.... WELL SAID ARCHITECT!!
As someone whom is currently making a few custom mods for friends and such, I believe mimicry is the finest form of flattery. The mass produced clones will never reach my level of fit and finish. They do however offer an inferior image of what my product can do. This usually lead a person to understand you get what you pay for. I would only ask clone makers to use their own logo.
