Not that I've ever seen -- it won't leak out the airflow unless you put more than 2.5ml in it, because the liquid simply can't reach the airflow hole to leak out.

I suppose it's possible that it could drip from the wick, but so far I haven't seen that.

I get that annoying airflow screw leakage from my newest kayfun, a black Tobeco; none of my other Tobecos do that. Don't know why; I've changed all the o-rings, but it still does it. At this point I'm considering a total disassembly to change the insulators.

And last night, as I was reassembling my EHPro kayfun, I discovered the reason why the flavor seems a bit muted in that one... the inside of the chimney-top is not arched, or dome-shaped, as the inside of the chimney-top is, on the Tobecos.

All my KF's do it. Tobecos & Svoe Moestos. There's no o-ring to swap, it just seeps down into the screw from somewhere in the air path and ends up on the top of my mods. I pull it off and clean up the mess every half tank or so to keep it out of my 510 conections. It's not a lot, just a drop or so, ut I don't want it to seep in to the mod and cause problems.

That's my feeling too -- and people keep yelling that such and such mod has a "gap"... but my own experience is that those with a gap, you don't find a bunch of juice on the top of the mod; without a gap, such as my iStick30's, where the atty sits flush on the mod... those are always just swimming in juice after a while. But I'm not finding that with the Achilles, even on an iStick30.

Heat + contact = wick. This isn't unique to tank systems. My Freakshow Mini, as an example, will leak onto my mod when flush, but stays bone dry when I give it ~1mm space between the mod. I'm not really familiar with Kayfuns but I notice the fill screw is on the base. I can definitely see that being an issue when flush-mounted. A simple design revision like a countersink for the screw would probably eliminate contact leaks entirely.

[EDIT] Totally forgot to address the OP! Just like Hashtag above, I bounce between 0/3/6mg throughout the day. This is partially for throat hit and flavour purposes, but mainly because, like so many others, I vape far more frequently than when I smoked. I'm of the opinion that this is common simply due to the differences between vaping and smoking in terms of efficacy of the nicotine delivery. I can still get a nicotine overdose at 3mg if I'm not paying attention, so 0mg has been brought into the picture to regulate that which I can't through self control. Pure VG is a surprisingly satisfying vape and acts as a great palate cleanser between flavours or just to give your taste buds a break.

It *is* countersunk -- but the more you loosen it, the more it sticks out. Once you get it past the flush point with the bottom of the tank, it's best to just remove it. Fortunately my kayfuns' airflow are all tight enough that the airflow screw is still within the bottom of the tank rather than sticking out.

Exactly, as my mods/flavors improved, I had to majorly drop nic level.

I don't like the taste of high nic but 18 mg was the only thing that kept me smoke free. Soon as I got decent equipment 18 knocked my socks off.

Got on 12 and thought that's where I'd stay forever. I have no plans to get off nic completely. Then I got better stuff and 12 was to much.

Now I'm at 6 and pretty happy but thinking 3 might be better.

Not misleading at all. I had wrote: My vape manner hasn't changed, just nic level. Some of us use puff counters to keep track :)

I think this thread is a bit misleading. While everybody says about mg/ml, nobody mentioned how daily juice consumption was changed. For example, going from 24 mg and 3 ml/day to 6 mg and 12 ml/day does not change nicotine consumption. No gain.

During stressful weeks, I can vape 60 ml's,.

So still less than 10ml a day -- on the high end, but I've read a lot of posts around here of folks vaping 15-20ml a day -- frankly I can't imagine how they have time to do anything ELSE, vaping that much, but who knows.

You doing any coil building yet? My new Achilles RDAs are real juice misers; with my Kayfuns, I was using 6-8ml a day, but with these new Achilles, I'm thinking I'm back to something less than 5ml a day.

I reduced slowly, only because I like to do things in a calculated way. But my incentive for doing so was because I hated the taste of nicotine solution. I didn't really enjoy vaping much until I was down to 6mg. now that I look back on my experience.

for whatever reason though, my body doesn't seem to care about nic that much. I experience no difference between 10mg, or 6mg, or 3mg. So I just decided to use 3 and 0 since it doesn't seem to matter. And I still can't tell any difference LOL

I only vape for behavioral dependency.

With all due respect:
One post, even if it is OP, does not represent the whole thread

You're right -- some of us even use LESS. :D

I've been on a journey to use less, to vape less, ever since I started -- when I first started, I chainvaped *CONSTANTLY* -- because I was trying to recondition my "urge to smoke" into "urge to vape," and a lot of it was the novelty factor too, of course -- but too much vaping is as bad for my asthmatic lungs as smoking was, so I've constantly been seeking to use less ejuice, to vape less, since I first started -- first by increasing my nic level; then I used a cartotank for a while, then after I had to go to exclusively rebuildables because of the gunking, I was able to get relief from excessive juice consumption by getting this Achilles.

And I've noticed a couple times this week, when my mod is somewhere I'm not -- stuck in my purse when I'm at a desk, or in another room when I'm doing something... it actually takes a little while for me to miss it. I sat here ECFing away the other day for nearly an hour, with my mod still in my purse. Finally I scanned the desk, thinking, where is it? Realized it was still in my purse from when I had gone out to the bank! Nearly an hour, without even thinking about it.

I know for a FACT that never happened, with cigarettes -- even if I couldn't smoke for whatever reason, it certainly occupied my mind!

I've read people claiming to vape 30 ml's per day, guess it all depends on the mods, noticed my protank 3 bdc goes through juice alot faster then my T3S.

No coil building yet. I'm experimenting with juice flavors. I tried an RDA at local vape shop, I nearly coughed up a lung, but flavor was outstanding ! Have fun vaping and happy 4th :)

For some reason, I vape the most at my computer desk, any other time I hardly vape. Someday's I can go a few hours without vaping, while I'm busy outdoors. But then I vape up a storm at my computer desk, very strange. I can go through 2 ml's just browsing the net, Lol !!!

Certainly hope you reach your desired goals. Wishing you well on your vape journey.

I am pretty sure it is the behaviour factor for me - tense - reach for a smoke - happy - reach for a smoke - drink coffee - reach for a smoke, you get the picture:) I started at -18 I have never been sure how many Mls but I would guess around 8 Mls per day might have to experiment more I am Vaping about 10 mg nic now DIY but no more than 3 in a dripper and even then I hold the dripper stuff in my mouth and don't inhale it as much just like the flavour. A few more weeks to retirement and I will experiment a little more haven't thought of a cig in ages and ages been Vaping 4 months after smoking 40 years at pack plus daily

Yeah the first RDA I tried was the Caterpillar; it's made for dual coils -- which I hate! -- but even with just a single coil in it, I couldn't handle it, and the airflow was much too much for a tootle puffer like me. :D It turned me off RDAs for a long time, but I finally got brave enough to start trying them again, and there really are RDAs that suit a tootler very well -- the Magma is great; on the tightest airflow setting it's much like my Kayfuns, but I do use a lot of juice, if I use it all day. The Achilles is a horse of another color entirely -- it was made exclusively for those who like a really tight draw; with so little airflow, you really have to turn down the wattage, so you end up with a tight draw, superb flavor, and not going thru ejuice like there's no tomorrow-with-FDA-regs-looming. You can also decrease your nic level with it, because it provides such a stellar throat hit.

I'm sure I'll still be using my Kayfuns when I'm going to be out of the house for most or all day, just because of the 4.5ml tank, but for my regular vaping, I seem to be using exclusively Achilles, because I love the tight draw and the quality of the vape, and it holds a great deal more than any other RDA -- it says 2.5ml, though I only use about 2ml, but even with just 2ml in it, I check it quite often and I'm just stunned at how slowly it goes thru juice.
