So quick little post here. Saw vapor joes tidbit bout cheap cobras or chobras whatever. Decided what the help, they are cheap I will get two. Heard it was bout 10 days or such. So 10 days, and nothing in the mail. Decided to track it on my e-mail and it just barely got to the USPS facility in Hong Kong today. This is my first China purchase, so I bet many of ya are like "Yea I waited 3 months for a co-op". Guess I need to order stateside and pay a bit more, cause I am really impatient. For anyone interested I will post again when I get updates or delivered.

If you can wait, it can be worth it in the long run. Rarely have I actually seen anything take 3 months.. 1 month, maybe a few days longer has been the max I've seen.

I'm waiting for something from fastech myself, and the tracking number doesn't even show up after 10 days. I figure it will be here by the end of next week anyway.

Depends on who you order from for sure and what shipping service, DHL seems to be very reliable coming out of China.

I ordered a LiPo bag sometime around late November last year. No tracking info or anything, free shipping (IE the cheapest in the world hah). I had actually forgotten I had ordered it the damned thing took so long to get here, as in I thought I had just had a dream I had purchased one.

Package showed up seriously 3~ months later and to my surprise there was the LiPo bag.

I bought some pan batteries from fasttech and it took less than a week. Also bought batteries from efest in China(shipped through hk post) and took about 10 days to arrive at the local post office but stuck there for 4 days atm. 7-10 days is not so bad with regular cheap shipping from China

Vague generalizations are just that.

eBay China sellers that use the USPS E-packet option are fast enough.

With Fast Tech I was offered the free USPS shipping option, it took them 3 days to get to the China post office and then 6 days to my house.

What's vague about ordering something on the March 16th or 23rd and on April 7th it is still not here and in my case at least not updated via the tracking number provided?

Edit: It's not a problem as I ship things to and from China all the time as it's my business..I am never in a hurry when things come from China..

All my orders from China come in 4 - 6 days to Georgia. Instead of the cheap route I pay the extra $6 for EMS shipping. Even with the fast shipping the prices are good. So for the cost of an atomizer I get my packages usually in 4 days.

I just wanted to offer up my thought and current experience with my order from china.

I just received my SS Vamo from OceanVapor. It took along time, but the price was too good to pass up. Took a little over 5 weeks with regular china post. I was getting a bit worried so I did a bit of research.

What I found, is that the beginning of the year is a tough time to order from China because everything shuts down for a month during their New Years celebrations.

What this means to us, is that while they are shut down, all the orders pile up. So, after they return, they start with the earliest orders and work their way down the list. This takes more time.

Further, I came to realize that as all these backed up orders are stacking up, the vendors stock is depleted, and orders to the manufactures are being placed rapidly to accommodate the orders.

Now, the manufactures are trying to keep up with the wave of orders they are receiving, since they too were down for a month. They are running out of the resources they need to create the ordered devices and place orders for the steel tubing and brass and plastics etc.. which other manufactures are waiting to be mined/ created, etc etc. It is a domino effect, that I am sure they are working hard to catch up to.

I was lucky to have placed my order just after they returned from their holiday, so my order shipped from their remaining stock, though after a month of orders stacking up, going by the tracking #, it took 12 days to ship. The longest part of my wait was my order going through customs. each package has to be checked and cleared for shipment out of China. Also as a side note the tracking from China isn't so great, so after it left customs it was never updated. It was showing "waiting for airspace" or something like that even on the day I received my package.

So unfortunately for a lot of us, it is a waiting game. If you are patient , you will have saved a lot money in trade of waiting longer.

Personally, it was worth it to me as currently my budget is very tight. I will order from China again. Just maybe not on something I need right away.

I live in Belgium, and I order in US China alcready business wise. It sometimes takes longer to get a package from germany with DHL then from china with DHL ... go figure. Sometimes I am wondering, shouldn't i just drive over there myself to pick it up. US - s U 7-8 business days, fastest so far was ordered on monday, next monday received (and that was with cheapest shipping possible). China - EU 7-8 Business days with most carriers. With DHL however i often get 4-5 days tops. It all depends greatly on how far the supplier is from a main distributing office for the specific carrier. If you for instance can hand the package in at the main triage cebentre for dhlk in your country, it'll go faster then to take it to an output where they just ship it to the main distri center

I order from Janty Europe regularly which ships from France using DHL. It always amazes me that my package gets to my door in the US in 3 - 4 days. And DHL's phone customer service personnel are the most helpful and nicest customer service personnel I have ever encountered.
