This stood out a bit, and may be concerning for future shipments of vape-goods out of China, since their customs enforcement may be on alert for them.
EDIT: I suppose since China has regulated e-cigs the same way as tobacco, it will fall on their laws regarding export of tobacco goods, and how strictly enforced...

This is part of the Chinese government taking over vape products like they did cigarettes and other tobacco products long ago. Part of the law that creates the takeover also limits what can be sold to other countries based in the laws of that country. I live in the USA and FT was an easy way around the nonsense going on here. Good thing I started stocking up on vape gear about a year ago. focusing on spare parts like insulators and tank sections, rebuildables, and mods (making sure I have a few mech mods). I have enough hardware now to likely last my lifetime since I am 60, and about 20 years of nic base for diy juice.

I was done buying, pretty much.
Didn't have anything on the list that was from China nowadays.
It does not appear that the export of gadgets will be taxed, but more complicated though.
I'm a little bummed.
I've stocked up over the years, but just recently started getting into boros...and FT was my place for custom parts. I've had a wotofo profile x rta preordered for a while now that is supposed to be in stock tomorrow, and a timesvape heavy hitter mech that I bought on sale which is due to ship the 11th. I really hope they are able to get out to me. I believe they'll try.
A lot of people have complained about them, especially their shipping times, but they have always done right by me...and I have bought a ton of stuff over the years. Also, I have always enjoyed their historically massive inventory of hard to find items, plus obscure parts and pieces.
So while I don't really NEED anything per say, I will definitely miss having them around for late night browsing, or the times that I might want some different colored o-rings for my SubTank Mini lol.
And while most of us here knew these days were coming, it doesn't make them any less sad. It was fun while it lasted though, right?

Definitely slim pickings right now at FT... I struggled to find a few more things, and sadly, this is probably my last order there unless they decide to turn things around:
I'm surprised that this issue hasn't garnered more responses - maybe it's because FT had a bigger role in providing cheap and diverse vaping options in the UK than in the US ?

Id like to add to my previous post, I will miss FT. It was a trusted source for vape gear at a good price. I am disabled and on a fixed income, so price was important. I seldom bought new products, but the price was right for older quality gear after the price dropped.
At this point I have enough gear. I did order a selection of drip tips yesterday, likely my last order from them. I had atty's and other stuff in my wish lists that you just cant get anywhere else. Now the lists are empty.

I am kicking myself this morning. I had 100 g-s air 1.2 ohm coils in my cart. Wish I had gone ahead and bought them. They are no longer available. I will have to move my g-s air toppers to the back shelf within the next year. I go through one each week. I only have 50 in stock.
I can rebuild protank type coils but not the gs air coils. I am going to really miss the great deals I got through Fasttech. Unfortunately I didn't see this coming.

Hard to say the future of FT, most of it is sold out now. Whether they turn around, or whether they close the el cig door is difficult to say.
And how things are going with the other big ones, it is impossible to say anything about.
In any case, I wouldn't gamble that they will stay.
When the authorities in that country decide on something, one warehouse or five means little. Just look at all the millions who are isolated due to covid restrictions.

I was going through all of the many orders placed at FT since I started purchasing there in 2013, and was curious about how much $$ was spent during that time.... $3513.58 Not really all that much, considering the vast amount of vape gear received over 9 years.
I'll probably take time to screenshot my previous orders / item pics there.... It'll be handy to help ID some of the little bits-n-pieces and parts tucked away in all of those many little packages at a future date....

It appears that either there's an outage, or FT has switched-off their servers. I figure the latter....
It leaves me with a bittersweet feeling, and yet another causality to our ever shrinking vape industry. FT did offer the best overall customer service from a China-based retailer IMO. AFAIK, there are no others left who compare in that department....

I hope that they have refunded the amounts that many people had left in gift cards.
