Oh! shame on you, titter ye not!

I'm sorry Terry et al but china should stop cloning every aspect of things.

I have several atomisers that say "Made in USA" on the base when they obviously haven't.

I have also seen on FT a few RDAs (can't remember which now, maybe omerta) that have *%&$ CLONES etched on the base and therefore the clones also have it haha

After my experience with the Hana and now this Earl 'stick' I quite agree - I said that very much tongue in cheek

George, i nearly forgot. vape mesh company got back to me RE: 28 awg Ni200, and told me it will be in stock within 2 or 3 days ! I replied, that they can change my 29 order to 28, as it hasn`t been shipped yet, have to wait and see now. :)

No need to apologize Adam, Personally, i don`t give a shi*e what they put on the packaging  The most important thing is that it works as it should do. :)

I held off in the end to wait and see if anyone restocked.Thought i'd top the order up with some juice or something to get free postage. It's not that i'm tight you know

Funny how all the "BIG" names will sell you a dna40 device but they choose not to stock the wire. Like selling shoes with no laces.

I have to say, UKEcigstore have certainly got a decent stock of VG or max VG liquids.
There's another two new ones today, and I thought the White Bull sounded promising ...custard ...then got to 'bananas' Aaagghh! What's with all the banana (and melon) ones springing up. https://www.ukecigstore.com/e-liquid/vapeture/vapeture-white-bull.html

I sent some email queries here and there yesterday, and had confirmation that:
Velvet Cloud have no PG whatsoever (or diketones) in any of their liquids - thought so, but wasn't100% sure.
Highbrow only use VG & alcohol flavouring when VG base liquid is requested - how good is that!

I asked the same question of Avant Garde, but haven't had a reply yet. (I mixed their Berry Crush with the Custard yesterday and it was very good!)

My main reason for asking this is obviously because I'm very sensitive to PG, but one of the less obvious reasons I'd like to know which have none or very little PG in them, is so that I can still use a couple of the Nicoticket ones mixed in at around 20%! ....and perhaps even a good dollop of Chefs QOP the same way too!

Both Highbrow and Velvet Cloud have some that I do like using, and added to Chefs having some flavouring concentrates that only need less than 5% added to the base, it's a bit promising!

Now I need to find a PG free (or how to make a low flavour volume) a Crème Brule flavour because it makes a good mild base for adding things like Virus and other NT ones to!

I've come to the conclusion that I'm not meant to have a red one of any make!

I got the red Earl iStick style from FastTech last week:

It was almost fully charged on arrival, so I began using it at 6.5W. By the time it was just under half discharged, I noticed the ohms fluctuating between 1.5 and 1.9ohms and the volts varying too. I was using a mini Nautilus with a 1.8ohm coil in it, and it wouldn't go any lower than 6.4W.

I decided to re-charge it before it was fully discharged, and the display did not light up unless I pressed one of the buttons. I had to keep checking it that way to see when it was fully charged, and even then it didn't register as being fully charged in the same way as an iStick usually does.

It did appear to be working OK though, so I started using it, and didn't notice any variation in the display. This morning though, it suddenly went dead and now refuses to show any life even though the battery still had more than half the charge.

In future, I'll stick with the authentic iStick as none of the ones I've bought from FastTech have had any problems.

How are you getting on with your Smart 20 Trish ? Mine's in use every day and hasn't missed a beat (hope sods law doesn't kick in here)
I use it at low wattage with my pt2 @ 1.8ohm and currently got one of my orchids on at 18watt @1.6ohm dual coil

Mine hasn't missed a beat either - great little device. The only thing that makes it different to my iStick is that it will briefly display "no atomiser" ot words to that effect shortly after attaching one. Then it romps off. Great!

Fine thanks - actually using it right now with my Mint Choc Vapetto mini Nautilus! 5Watts and a 1.8 coil. (It 'lives' on a black iStick but it's being charged at the moment).
Only thing I didn't like is the finish is a bit 'tin foil shiny' compared to an iStick - apart from that it's OK. I don't think I'd risk another look alike iStick though seeing they aren't mega expensive.

I had that and needed to lift the pin a bit - been fine ever since. I still think they're brilliant little devices!

After the red Earl one died today, I'm glad I caved in and ordered an iStick 30W when FT got them in. Should be here any day. I'll get a 50W too, and think (hope!) I'll need no more for a good while.
Still waiting for an Eleaf GS16 and coils to arrive ..been 11 days since despatch from Ireland!

Just ordered another KF4.Went for the Infinate version this time.
Will be able to see the differences from the first i bought, still don't know who made that one.
Messaged F.T and asked but they said they had a privacy policy and did not disclose the details, if the manufacturer had asked them not to.

No i haven't terry, the draw really isn't very tight.Like i said when you've been using a Lemo for a while it just feels that way.
What,is it just a case of removing the screw completely and that's it.

Yes i`ve seen it done in some of the reviews George. Just a matter of taking the base off, and unscrewing it from the inside. No need to drain the tank, just close off the juice flow, take the base off and remove. :)

Quick visit, Have spent all day getting this Lappy to work properly, it needed loads of updates installing, which was slowing it to a crawl downloading in the background, well I don't hardly use it these days

Have found out that it is the Pump on the liquid cooling that has seized up, so need the liquid cooling replaced, about £80 - £120 for a new unit, can't do it myself as I am an idiot when it comes to anything to do with the CPU, blew one years ago, ruining the whole motherboard, so am waiting for a company to get back to me with a time frame for fixing it, which will probably cost me another £65 - £95.

Totally agree about Microsnot and it's silly ideas, after all Desktops, Laptops, Tablets & phones are all totally different, so why should they all run the same OS, wish they would just support existing OSes and carry on giving out fixes when required, we could really do with another SP to amalgamate all the existing hotfixes as there are so many now, doing a re-install is a nightmare.

Can't see much problem with filling the KF4 with the Bell cap on, from the video it looks quite easy.

So, Terry beat you then George, never mind, yours should get there soon :)

Well, that's all for me tonight, will try and get on sometime tomorrow, might be a bit better now that this Lappy is totally up to date with everything.

EDIT: Knew there was something else I wanted to comment on, the Tobeco KF4 - I removed the AFC screw on that, haven't got round to using the Infinite clone yet

My mate is telling me to install Linux, he reckons that it doesn;t need a security package because of "sandboxing" and that it also doesn't need updates
I've looked on Wiki but all the tech jargon is wasted on me

Can't help with Linux Vince - Plenty of people use it and say it's good, but I never have.
I may be wrong, but I think all online computers need a form of security now in varying degrees.
Kaspersky has something like sandbox, and something called Safe Money. I've not used it but do use the virtual keyboard when logging into things like my bank account.

Hi guys,

Been e-mailing cloupor about the mini melting issue and have now received this:

"You can let the device reach at 30w and press the fire button with 15 second.

If the device didn't day "too hot" , that is safe.

Thank you. "

Also seen this news item here saying they got the same response from cloupor and explains it better than their stupid broken English:

Update: Do you have a faulty Cloupor Mini 30W ? | Planet of the Vapes

So I will definitely be trying this when mine arrives shortly haha
