WHAT !!! 7 quid a bleeding pack. Are they fillet steaks ? should be for that sort of cash !

I know mate, it is expensive. But they had to get Robin Hood to supply the meat in the first place  I have heard that it's even better than fillet steak though. I'll let you know when I try it :) Plus we got that £5 off voucher, so it only cost us £2 really

I`ve not had rabbit for years now ! Grandma used to make stew religiously every saturday for me and my brothers. We used to love it. :)
They had a way with pans of stew! I remember mine performed magic with a ham bone! She made lovely lamb stew too ..suppose it was what they called mutton then.
Funny thing how that huge pan of stew used to get re-heated a few times, it always tasted wonderful and yet no-one ever got an upset tum!

The Venison is the dearest out of all of them mate, think we paid about 7 quid a pack. But as a treat, if we like it, it's worth it. I'm not a fan of any fatty meat - that's why I cremate the bacon  Remember seeing Venison on a programme not so long back, they said it's one of the leanest red meats available, so that's why I wanted to try it :)
It is a very lean meat - gamey/rich and has a slightly different texture to steak, but it is nice.

It's the venison version of fillet steak - usually very nice & sometimes with a slightly coarser texture than fillet steak. Depends how it's cooked. I've had it a few times in a rich red wine gravy/sauce with onions & mushrooms ..sort of a slow cooked casserole.

The stuff we got was just rabbit fillets - looks just like a piece of steak really, but not a trace of any fat at all. Chop it up and as soon as you start to brown it in a little olive oil it turns the colour chicken does when you fry it. The face bit doesn't really bother me, it's just seeing meat covered in fat that puts me off :?: I wasn't too sure about trying the rabbit at first myself, but I'm really glad I did now :)
I like the taste of duck breast, but to me, ducks are cute things that go 'quack'

It does bug me that they pre-install a lot of stuff that you don't want or need. You should be allowed to choose what you want on your phone.
Again, I don't see why we should buy something and be made to have anything pre-installed that we don't ask for.

My friend lives in Hawick and the local butcher delivers it to her if they order it!

Yes i remember them days well trish, never used to get poorly really apart from chicken pox, measles etc. If a cousin had measles, or chicken pox for that matter, we were encouraged to play out with them so we would catch the virus, then become immune ourselves. What with that, and eating mud pies, Ohhh the memories.

Funny how food will give us days of upset tums so easily now! Did our immune systems get ruined with all the hygiene and cleaning materials? I think so.
I got two ready to cook chicken and vegetable meals from Sainsbury one day - cooked them as directed, husband was fine, I was delirious for four days with campylobacter and lost over a stone! I really couldn't tell what was real and what were dreams - it was awful. I don't eat chicken now unless it's absolutely fresh and free range - and then it's only rarely. I can't even bear to touch the stuff raw now.

Mud pies? Yes! I had measles, and before I was allowed up, got chickenpox! I can still remember how poorly and itchy I was, and I was only 5! Kids seemed to share everything awful, including nits! But, valiant Nitty Nora would sail down the street on her iron horse and fix everything
...and they'd demolish the cinemas we had behind a sterile cordon now!
How on earth did we survive ;)

I remember reading something a while ago, that said we are TOO clean these days ! Although i don`t remember the full details. You never made a mud pie trish, and tried to eat it ? You haven`t lived

Quickly changing subject, i just ordered apple pie, and ocean, from cloudhouse ( coval ) :)

Re-read what I said  (Mud pies? Yes!)
We are too clean, and it does stop healthy immune systems developing. The sister at the doctors said her children played in her parents farmyard with the chickens just as she had, and it never did them any harm!

Great! Hope you like it :)
I've tried the Butterscotch Pudding and that's really nice (I know, you wouldn't like it), and the Chocolate Donut ..very nice but not very strongly flavoured, same with the Strawberry Custard. The Strawberry Creamcake is better. I also have Blueberry Custard and haven't tried it yet, and asked for a sample of Ocean - apparently they don't usually give samples of Coval, but did send a 5ml bottle for me - smells brilliant! I'll try it tomorrow!
I'm waiting for the OMG Peach from Indigo to come back in stock there, and may get some Ocean if it doesn't make me wheeze. Think he's going to get some more of their other flavours soon. Pity they only do 30ml bottles of them though.

I've still got two SNG ones to try: Creature Cream: peach, cranberry, and Irish cream, and Orange Jealous: orange, pineapple, and cream.

I'm yet to finish trying the coffee ones - still a couple more to go and then I'll decide on one.
My favourite chocolate ones so far are the Highbrow Tiramisu, Dark Chocolate & Choc Macaroon with extra almond flavouring.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm not meant to have a red one of any make!

I got the red Earl iStick style from fasttech last week:

It was almost fully charged on arrival, so I began using it at 6.5W. By the time it was just under half discharged, I noticed the ohms fluctuating between 1.5 and 1.9ohms and the volts varying too. I was using a mini Nautilus with a 1.8ohm coil in it, and it wouldn't go any lower than 6.4W.

I decided to re-charge it before it was fully discharged, and the display did not light up unless I pressed one of the buttons. I had to keep checking it that way to see when it was fully charged, and even then it didn't register as being fully charged in the same way as an iStick usually does.

It did appear to be working OK though, so I started using it, and didn't notice any variation in the display. This morning though, it suddenly went dead and now refuses to show any life even though the battery still had more than half the charge.

In future, I'll stick with the authentic iStick as none of the ones I've bought from fasttech have had any problems.

Best price I've seen so far - cheapest was £42.99.

I just tried a MOW tank from FT - think it had an iffy coil in it, but even with a new one, I had a hard time finding a battery that was able to fire it. I even turned the pin anti clockwise a little on the Cloupor mini, but it had no effect. Finally got it to work on an iPow battery. For what they cost, I'll stick with MyEPack if I want more!

Bob i left it standing for about 8 minutes, and it didn`t go into sleep mode ! Fired straight away when i picked it up. Just got to wait for my wire now, then i can have a proper play. :)

Beautiful blue! :) Very smart.
We just got junk post today.

I noticed something missing at Chefs: Caramel Cappuccino - and there's no concentrate either.
Don't know if they'll make any, but there's also ABC and Posset concentrates not available too.

I did see that some of the 10ml bottles of ready to use Posset aren't available.

I wasn`t expecting it at all Trish, as the tracking is still saying it`s in the air  I will have a look at chefs later as i need some more SD&C, but maybe They are just in the process of making some up. Dunno.

It was only $22 Terry - but I will tell them about it anyway. Can't see them wanting to refund shipping on something that cheap though.

They do have the SDC, so no worries.
