Re: going abroad. Went to Egypt at Christmas- no problems & a great time. Went to Turkey in April - as above. Having been to Tunisia and Morocco in the past - they are interesting places to go. Safety? Well, you can fall on the ice and hit your head and die (like Dr. Atkins). Life is finite but we make it much duller if we don't explore. There are always threats to safety wherever you go and whatever you do. This just means that (imho) it's wise to keep doing things!

Quite right too pipe, we can`t just stop living because of a bunch of lunatics. I see now, and not before time, they are looking to take out that Assad. What has taken them so bloody long ? Anyone else and it would be job done, nice and sweet. And what the freaking hell has that Osborne got to do with military strikes etc, he should just stick to counting our pennies imo.

You're absolutely right and I try to tell everyone to adopt that POV about travel. Too many people are too afraid. People are even afraid of NYC, safest place I've ever lived IMO.

I find two general rules keep me safe

If you're the only person on a street at night, find another street.

Don't stand around stent at buildings in remote places with two outlets only. :) pretty common sense

Actually funnily enough of all the fun places we traveled as a family. And in my fathers's whole life living in some, thing like fifty countries, the only place we ever had a problem was in the French country with a bunch of fourteen year old kids who mugged him and broke into the van. Unexpected for sure. I was 14 at the time lol

Rebuilt my Goblin mini this morning with 26g wire rather than, the too thin 28g i had previously tried.
Came out at 0.5Ω and seems to be vaping well, filled with Marcus's Valley trifle:)
Fitted the Vinces Goblin mini tip, which has a groove cut but no o ring,it uses the one in the neck of the tank.

Also made a pair of Clapton coils ready for the Twisted Messes rda i've ordered, which should be here tomorrow.
8 wraps on 3mm,should when built up, come out around the 0.4Ω mark.

I was thinking I'd seen the Breakfast at Teleos 'The Milk' somewhere here recently, but can't find it ..still, not desperate - I looked on justbottles and saw a new one from Teleos, and already it's sold out. ( Has great US reviews too) Will wait for it coming back to justbottles Experiment One de Teleos - Premium USA pour cigarette électronique

I see now, and not before time, they are looking to take out that Assad. What has taken them so bloody long ?
Putin I imagine ....seems he's recently moved a mobile air traffic surveillance into Syria, and also requested permission for military cargo planes to fly over other countries airspace into Syria.
Yes, should have done it long ago along with IS while they had the chance.

Yes, NY wouldn't worry me any more than any other big city.
Only place we ever felt uneasy was Tunisia, and my husband wasn't too happy in Belfast some years back.

Vapehype and No1 e-juice stock Teleos.
Ah! ..wonder why I didn't find them when I was looking  Thanks.

Chefs English trifle.Trish.
 I see - thought you'd devised a new recipe.
I keep meaning to try using the Rice Pudding and a little of the Strawberry Jam to see how they are together.
Think I need to use some fresh English Trifle as what's in my tank didn't taste brilliant yesterday.

Liking that drip tip. Just using the stock glass one on mine which is ok. Haven't tried the drip tip adapter yet but I might.

Have re-wicked mine several times now to try and get it working better and this last time has been the best. Cut the wick shorter but thicker so that none of it is stuffed down the channels (previously had a little bit in the channels) but there is more of it above the channel to catch juice coming up, seems happier that way. Got it at about 0.3ohms with a 25ga dual coil at 2.5mm and been using it on mechs mostly with this latest rewicking and it keeps up ok, only gets a little dry if I chain vape it a few times in a row.

Did you build a dual or single coil? I'm trying to use 26 but finding to get the wraps I need with nickel it's a very very tight fit. And I don't personally see much of a difference in vape quality with the single coil adaptor in vs a dual setup. A touch less vapor i would think but uses half as much juice.

I don't know hat I've built a kanthal build I this one yet - so maybe he spaces wraps 26 is too much

Also a general question. When using silica or ekowool is it common for there to be less vapor than a comparable cotton build? Or does that mean the coil isn't tight enough, the wick is too thick, or something else?

It is a Kanthal dual build,8 wraps of 26g on 2.5mm.
Ok I figured. That seems like it would fit fine. I can only get about six in on a spaced coil.

It's a good little atomizer. I hope people take a queue on how to save space implementing a top cap from them. But wih a standard connector preferably.

I really like the drip tip you bought. Inc with choose the atomizers on which I settle I will definitely be buying a couple of those.

Been so long since I wicked with silica that my style of builds have changed a fair bit since then, but I would guess you'd get less vapour yeah. Wicks slower than cotton and I found building coils and then pushing silica through too difficult so would always wrap the coil around the silica, which makes it less neat and evenly heating.

What kind of atomisers are you doing silica wicks in?

I have never used silica. I skipped that step. Cartomizer to premade pop in coils to rta with cotton.

I tried to do a silica build in the taifun gt2 per the manual. Worked ok but the amount of vapor made was very low. Like 1/4-1/3 of normal.

I used an eyeglasses screwdriver rather than a paper clip to use as he spine so I am wondering if the low vapor Production is from a loose coil/ wick setup.

I have some mesh coming mostly because k need it for the gs2 wicking feeder tubes but I may have a play around with mesh wicks too. Though you can't use those in temp
Control setups can you.

I'm familiar with the process of charring first but that's about it for both silica and mesh

I tried mesh when i first started vaping - soon gave up on it - could never get it to work well, and NO you can't use it in Temp mode, people that I know that use mesh are usually in the genny brigade, I only ever had one genny and always had problems with it wicking properly.

Always fancied a genny,'til i found out they've usually got a very tight draw.
Some say the flavour off mesh is exceptional and worth the hassle, but can't see me bothering.

AWOL yesterday Bob,everything OK ?
No, popped in a couple of times, just nothing to say, it was Sunday after all
