Well, Alzheimers was at the top of the list on my mum's death certificate. People misunderstand what it is - they think it's the same stuff that we used to call "senility". It isn't. It selectively destroys areas of the brain. Anything that can help prevent that is very welcome, imho.
Neurodegenerative diseases are just one form of brain disease, but all can be cruel and distressing.
So sad that with Alzheimer's we can now predict the likelihood, yet can't do anything positive to prevent it nor halt it's progression.

I worked for a few years on a ward with elderly people who had all succumbed to some form of brain disease, including Alzheimer's. I looked forward to each day with them, difficult though some could be, because usually, it was possible to at least raise a smile or have brief coherent chats with them.
The saddest thing to me was that they were from all walks of life and professions, yet all were reduced to a similar state.

So yes, if there's any glimmer of hope with a supplement or safe drug, I'm all in favour of it.

Re Chefs ready to use liquids.

I mentioned that 4 had gone from the ready to use ones, and that two were Strawberry Vapetto and Lemon Coconut Cream Cake ...I just noticed a third: Queen of Puddings!
The latter two are available in concentrates, but the Strawberry Vapetto seems not to be (obviously not popular enough). I don't know what the fourth one is that's missing from the ready to use though.
Somehow, I just can't see them being poor sellers as not only are they pretty unique to Chefs, I think most of us really like them, so think it likely many others do too - quite puzzled by that.
Well at least they are doing the concentrates, so we can at least make some up, unlike MCV & SV

If they aren't re-doing the Strawberry Vapetto it may be possible to get the recipe. I don't use it all the time, but I do like it.

I haven't tried the ready to use nicotine base that they sell yet, so I'll try and get something made with it to see what it's like. I suspect it'll be fine though.

Wasn't mad keen on the SV but I will miss the MCV when I get to the end of my bottle, then I'll have to get the ingredients to mix my own

I've decided it'll be easiest to look on the percentages as ml and mix up a bottle that way - it adds up to 34ml so just about right to mix with 66ml of base.

Doing it that way I would make the base 1mg more nic than you need to offset the amount of no nic in the flavouring.

Good idea - I don't get too concerned about the nicotine though to be honest. Most of what I'm using is around 4mg, but in the others I have they're either 6 or 3 and I don't tend to try and balance them out.
I am using 12mg Welsh custard every day for a while though. The higher nicotine spoils the taste (for me) but if it helps, then I don't care.

I've bought some of the premixed base and it's good.Bought it at 70/30 3mg nic and it's good

I've been buying juice lately at 0nic and my homebrew is being mixed at 1-3% nic,That's for sub ohming. Its easy to vape 12ml of juice in a day

When I use the Gs Air tanks its 3-6 nic
In a month it will be a year that I started vaping.Planning to be on zero nic by then

If I can get to zero nic.Im still gonna carry on vaping.because I loves it

Glad to hear that - I've seen people saying some brands have a peppery taste.

Brilliant! Hope that works for you. I had the same intention until I realised I still need some higher nicotine, at least for the time being.
I think I'd find it fairly easy to get to zero otherwise - pretty sure that once down to 3 or lower, it's more a case of the hand to mouth simulated smoking that works.

Sure does ;) I use mine a lot too. Interestingly though, I can go out and not be bothered about it for a few hours. When I smoked I was constantly wondering where I could go for a cigarette when out.

Ha-ha! I needed to know that! Seriously though, me and toilets aren't the best of friends right now ...colitis tends to restrict me wandering far from it sometimes.

Sounds a nice varied set! I loved menthol until earlier this year and now really don't care for it at all. 50% of the cigarettes I smoked were menthol too! Can you use it at work with no problems?
I like strawberries and cream, but most of them don't have enough flavour. I must try one with raspberry added.

Loving the IPv D2,the only downside is the battery life.So I'm looking for something dual battery, thinking along the lines of this Genuine PIONEER4YOU IPV4S 120W Variable Wattage Box Mod-59.99 and Free Shipping | GearBest.com Mobile
Any ideas welcome

That's a hell of a cheap price for a twin batt,tc mod.
I think Bob could tell you more on the IPV4.
But you may also want to check out the Suck my Mod reviews on YT.There are two the review and an update.
You can see for yourself by watching them, there was some cause for concern.

Edit: followed that link,and had a look around,GB have drippers(some originals)for absolute buttons.Eg.Black velocity clone,just over a fiver,posted.

One of the problems with going up to dual battery mods, is first are they parallel or series, the IPV4 is series so will not really extend the amount of time you can vape at.

For a 3.7v 2500mAh battery pair, dual parallel doubles the mAh whereas series doubles the applied voltage available (8.4v with full battery, 7.4v nominal).

You are also looking at something quite a bit bigger in size, just as easy to carry a couple of extra charged batteries and change them over when required in the D2

This one is available from the UK warehouse and is smaller than the IPV4: Original Cloupor GT 80W Temperature Control Variable Voltage VV / VW Mode Box Mod-51.34 and Free Shipping | GearBest.com Mobile but again is a dual series mod (I have it and it is quite good and works fine in Temp mode)

@Bobw1951

Have you seen anything on the new updated battery cap for the SXmini?
Wondering if they will fit all models and be available to buy on their own.
(not really happy 'til it's back on after a charge, new one is no coin required:))
Not seen anything, is it the same as the updated one on the Vaporshark Vaporflask, my VS VF has the coin operated style ones similar to the other VFs, but the new ones have a lift up latch.
