Chatting on AAEC with @VapingBad about it, I'll keep my 2 as well for the time being anyway, has the Velocity got the BF pin as well or is it the same as the others, I have now swapped the pin to the SS one which has a dual build Ni-200 in it ready for the "windows" squonker I'm waiting for.

At least the upgrade for the Ti wires is still available so if your new mod hasn't been upgraded you can do it yourself, just won't be able to use SS.

No BF pin Bob.But until i do something about a squonker, that's OK.Really think i should go TC if i buy a Squonker.
I think the new mod will come upgraded as they say with latest software version.

Good idea, saves burning the cotton if it goes dry, that applies to top fed RDAs as well - when my one comes I'll do a piccy of it next to the VT40 which I know you have, so you can see the size difference, think he said it was £135 for just the squonker and he only wants the money once it is completed.

Sure does ;) I use mine a lot too. Interestingly though, I can go out and not be bothered about it for a few hours. When I smoked I was constantly wondering where I could go for a cigarette when out.

Ha-ha! I needed to know that! Seriously though, me and toilets aren't the best of friends right now ...colitis tends to restrict me wandering far from it sometimes.

Sounds a nice varied set! I loved menthol until earlier this year and now really don't care for it at all. 50% of the cigarettes I smoked were menthol too! Can you use it at work with no problems?
I like strawberries and cream, but most of them don't have enough flavour. I must try one with raspberry added.

In work vaping is classed the same as smoking.Only vape in the smoking shelters (That doesn't bother me)

The best Strawbery and cream IMHO
12% Capella sweet strawberry
4% Chefs Devon cream
4% Bavarian cream
Mix the up,put them in a box,for a few weeks and it tastes like those.Campino Strawbery and cream sweets

Just as well it doesn't, but it's a bit thoughtless and narrow minded of companies when you've sought to rid yourself from the harmful side of cigarettes, and they expect you to stand alongside smokers!

That does sound rather good! 20% percentage? ...I may get the Capella Strawberry one and try that. :)

Vapemail: Flow-ring for my Squonk³ and my Bold Vape order 2 x Uwell Crown tanks & extra coils

Any chance of a good review of the uwells in a day or when you've tried them out? I'm in the market for some new attys but not sure which ones. Have you got the rebuildable bases?
Look forward to seeing what you say about them.

@Davantrac Hi Dave, first thoughts are good, using the 0.25ohm steel coil on the VT200 with temp control - very easy to top fill, I forgot to close the air flow but it didn't cause a problem with the first fill, might do for subsequent fills so must remember next time.

When I last looked the RBA coil wasn't available, when it does become available will have a look at it, it comes with the 0.25 dual installed and a 0.5 dual & 0.15 dual Ni-200 as well as a replacement glass, there is also a 1.2ohm single coil but that is not included, think Trisha might be the only one to use that one. The steel coils will work in temp mode on the DNA200 like the Triton coils. One downside is that replacement coils are in packs of 4 for the same price that others are for 5, probably because of the plastic case they come in.

Love the clicky feel of the air flow adjuster when it is over the hole, and then it spins round smoothly until it latches on to the hole again (there is one big air hole on each side, but you can click though 4 different settings from small to wide open).

The only bad thing about it was getting the box opened, they have wrapped sellotape all round and once you get that off, then some of the glue has stuck to the join in the box so you have to use your nails to pry it apart

All round a very good sub-ohm atomizer, should be a lot better once the RBA coil becomes available, at the moment my top 5 for sub-ohming in no particular order are: Aspire Triton & Atlantis v1, and the Beyond Vapes Silo Beast, these can all accept the Atlantis coils which is an advantage, Kanger Subtank Mini and now the Uwell Crown.

Thanks Bob. I like the idea of 1 coil fitting many attys, maybe I'd buy more ready made if I was in that situation. I'm getting quite good at coiling my own now and I do prefer it cost wise at the moment, but I've only tried the nickel 28awg in temp mode. The wife is only using the gs air at the mo but she's getting on average a 7-10 days per coil using 2 mods and 2 tanks all the time so I buy her coils.
I'm sure Terry says the rebuildable base is available here in the UK but I haven't traced it yet.

This is the only place I have seen them so far, but I am not paying nearly £10 just for a RBA coil: Uwell Crown Subtank Rebuildable Coil / Head RBA Kit - Cambridge Vaping

Oh because I'm new at this stage of vaping, will the Atlantis coils fit the Uwell aswell? I do like the look of the triton and atlantis, although the atlantis 7ml version is a clone on FT I don't mind clones.
No, only the Atlantis, Triton & Silo Beast, the Uwell coils are different, wouldn't advise getting the v2 Atlantis, I have 2 and although they are okay, the drip tip is too big and not standard, and it's too airy even for me, prefer the v1

Nice and cheap that v1 on FT, only £7. What are they like to fill?
just unscrew the bottom to fill it, you don't even have to take it off the mod, just turn it upside down and unscrew the tank etc from the base & coil, the screw top on the coil is what keeps it together.

Don't forget that is only 2ml capacity, if you want more then you will need this to up it to 5ml: $7.39 Authentic Aspire Atlantis Replacement Tank Set - stainless steel + glass / 5ml at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I am about to make my first order from fasttech and have a couple questions, figured this was a good a place as any to ask.

I am planning on ordering 2 Velocity clones and IPV3 Li and a 4 pack of Samsung 25R. I think I remember reading somewhere that ordering batteries from fasttech is a bad idea. Is this true? Should I just order my clones and mod and buy batteries elsewhere?

Time is no issue, I am in no rush to get these things that's why I decided to go with fasttech to save some cash.

I know the question has probably been asked already but this is a huuuge thread. Any first time buying essential tips from you guys would be great. Tia.
Some clones are absolute rubbish, some are really decent! I've made about 60 orders from fasttech and everything has always turned up!

I always choose the e-packet to the uk about $2 for shipping but always gets here really quickly!

Keep an eye out for stock levels too, currently awaiting an atty for three weeks but I made the mistake of not checking "ships in" part! Hopefully that should be here this week though! [emoji3]

This was the one I was looking at, is this just a clone version. Any thoughts on these.
I didn't know about the part you mentioned so will check it out.
Cheers.
On FT if it says "style" it is definitely a clone, if it says "Authentic" then it usually is, the only clone tanks I have are the Kayfuns that I have bought from companies over here, and the only one I ever bought from FT was a Kanger Protank 3 and it was sh*t. I actually prefer to buy my tanks over here, so if there is a problem, it can be fixed fairly quickly.
