I didn't bother with the Griffin, but I still have the Serpent to try.I have two of my three up and running both with dual Nife30 builds in them.Probably try a 316L build in the other.
Yet to try the Griffin,i'm looking for some Ni200 Clapton wire, thought i'd give it a go only place i can see it in the UK is Creme de Vape and it's in pieces rather than on a roll. It's a little expensive with the postage for what it is.
I didn't know that! Don't think I eat a lot of carbs thinking about it.
I'm going vegetarian - and reducing carbs. After 40 lbs gained Ina f ew months I have to go drastic. In shocked how many carbs I ate without even realizing it. Including in fruit.
The transition will be a paleo diet. Then probably vegetarian paleo.
But the first time I've been a vegetarian and it works for health and personal beliefs
but I still have the Serpent to try.
I'll keep that in mindI've coiled and wicked mine but yet to try.
Apparently it can be a leaky bugger, but the idea is to only half tighten the top can on a fill, then turn it upside down before making it tight.Or pressure builds and floods it.
My SXmini was looking a little worn,so this morning i fitted a black snakeskin wrap to it.Very pleased,it looks like a new device. And so simple to do.
1 meter wouldn't last long, you can get spools of 10 meters though @ Stealth Vapes, not that expensiveI wish business would sell pick and mix 1 metre spools of various different wires.
Out of the Kanthal wires I bought I think i'll only be using 24, 26 and 28 AWG.
@Ms.Sue Nichrome is rubbish, it's a bit like Kanthal but no where near as good, so I wouldn't bother.
Stainless Steel can be used in both Power mode & Temp mode, in power mode it acts like Kanthal.
Clapton is just the way that the wire is made, usually 2 strands of say 32g Kanthal which is then wrapped with 26g Kanthal normally shown as 26/2x32, it takes a lot longer to heat up but gives a better vape once hot.
Kanger SSOCC heads are now being made with Nichrome rather than Kanthal, that's why they don't appear to be as good
As for wires the ohms quoted are per meter and should really be ignored, it's the AWG (American Wire Gauge) or mm diameter of the wire that you need to know (26AWG = 0.40mm)

There are various grades of steel, but the main one is SS316L, noticed you said you bought some wire on Amazon, hope it wasn't from Crazy Wire, they are the same company as Vape Atomizer Mesh (VAM) and are not a vape company but a wire company and some of their wires are not really good for vaping , the best wires for vaping are from Stealth Vapes, they test their wires. Is 316L Stainless Steel the right one?. And on the dropdown box I can still get 24 and 26AWG?.
WHAT ??? NOoooooooooooHave you tried a low-carb diet? It can have a great effect on bringing BP down after about 4 weeks. Fewer than 20 carbs a day - and no beer.![]()
I`ll wait for my next GP visit Pipe, and see what she says. Probably get prescribed Tablets if it doesn`t come down, which it hasn`t done yet. Chippy for tea tonight

You know me too well BobThat ain't gonna happen![]()
