Well I only have 3 blue ones, an old sigelei, hardly used, a Gizmo 17 and the istick, when I got the SXK SX300 the other day I wanted the Blue but they didn't have it in stock so went with the Red one (which turned out to be Bronze )
I remembered you liked the istick in blue when it first appeared!
...so how did a Red one end up Bronze!

Don't know about the GS16, but the only MOW I have running is on an iStick at 10w - anything higher and it tastes burnt to me but that's with a 70/30 Strix liquid, might go higher with 50/50 or higher VG, this one is nearly finished so will give the other one a go with some Kingslayer in it, and let you know.

EDIT: Some coil heads have the wattage range printed on them
I didn't know that!

I see that Eleaf advise that the best 'fit' for the 30W iStick is a Melo: MELO Atomizer
For the mini iStick, they recommend the GS16S, but of course the mini only goes up to 10W.

Thanks again I've got a Nautilus Mini thought it was ok,but kept get burnt hits at 8 watts.Just changed the coil and wow brill taste and vapor.Must have been a dud coil in there when I bought it

Sometimes they are not put in correctly, whenever I get a new one I always take them apart completely and then reassemble, although it may well have been a dud, do get them sometimes.

Probably employing people who are colour blind and can't tell the difference

I didn't know that!

I only noticed it the other day, just had a quick look and it seems it's the Aspire ones, they show the operating voltage 3-6v after the resistance figure, I think it may have been the Atlantis one that showed the wattage range which was 20-30w (and I'm firing one at 40w )

Yes, forgot about the Melo, but not sure if it is in the shops yet

Reminded me that I saw this about the coils just a few days ago:

The Standard (not Nautilus)
Resistance Old version New version
1.6ohm 1.6Ω(3.0-4.2V) 1.6Ω(3.0-4.2V)
1.8ohm 1.8Ω(3.0-5.0V) 1.8Ω(4.2-5.0V)
2.1ohm 2.1Ω(3.0-6.0V) 2.1Ω(5.0-6.0V)

The Nautilus coils are shown under the tank 'specs' as:
1.6 3.0-4.2V
1.8 3.0-5.0V
2.1 3.0-6.0V

Yes, forgot about the Melo, but not sure if it is in the shops yet
I can only see it pre-order on some US sites, and also at Heavengifts:
Eleaf Melo Sub Ohm Airflow Adjustable Atomizer - 2.5ml
The coils spec is:

Resistance: 0.5ohm
Applicable wattage: 20W - 30W
Heating wire diameter: 0.4mm

They state it's organic cotton too.

He was one mad ......er, see how he built it, and why use side nips to cut the cotton, I find scissors a lot easier, but the atty looks good, shame about the size, another one that will need an extension kit for more juice.

I always have a laugh when I see how some people do their builds on youtube. There's some real wallys out there

For me, that's the only downside, the capacity. But like you, I always have plenty of set ups on the go at once, so I'm not going to be refilling it every day ;)

I saw that in a Liberty Flights newsletter not so long ago. I would have loved to go, but I only get 1 Saturday off every month, so I'll probably be working anyway :( Bet there's loads of freebies on offer too.

Paypal charged me £46.68 yesterday, just hoping they mark it down like FT etc so it doesn't get hit with VAT

Must be something to do with the exchage rate bob, i just double checked and mine is £47.20 via paypal :)

EH! Last week you didn't like them ;-)

My first impressions george were - bloody hell that is going to be awkward to use, but after a closer look i think it looks rather cool :D

I have quite a few friends who are gay, but I don't want it shoved down my throat

Ahem

Don't forget that to use TC you will need some Ni200 wire and get the coils as close to 0.1 ohm as possible, 29AWG is probably the best to try first

EDIT: which one did you get, I ordered the Blue one

Yes i will have to order some wire bob ! There will be plenty of questions as well regarding builds  Great minds and all that palava mate. ;) I got the Blue :)

:offtopic: Totally off topic but for anyone using Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 when Windows 10 comes out for the 1st year MS will offer a free (yes I did say FREE) upgrade:

http://www.cnet.com/uk/news/microso...=nl.e302&s_cid=e302&ttag=e302&ftag=CADf5e0db9

Another good find robert, i will have some of that !

There normally is juice wise, and you can sometimes pick up some bargains as well. Also apart from Vape Jam (Phil & the Greek going to this one as well as Vaporshark and BeyondVape) at Olympia in London a week later, there is an expo at the NEC in July and e-cigarette exhibition in Harrogate in June (some chinese vendors expected at this one), looks to be a busy year for Vapers, date/venue still to be set (next month) for the main UK Vape Fest 2015

I've just skimmed through the Liberty Flights Newsletter - I see the negative stuff hasn't gone away! :(
Issue 30 | NewsVaper

No 1 rule for now: - Stay laid back cool! ....don't get sectioned under the MHA (at least in East Lancs. so far.) ...they'll take your cigs and e-cigs away!!!

There's always a fair amount of negative stuff in there Trisha, but plenty of rebuttals too. It's surprising how quickly us vapers jump on a topic when it's obviously wrong :D The only problem is the coverage the negativity gets, until we have chance to squash it.

I've no plans to visit East Lancs, so I reckon I'll be ok

Wasn't sure if you were looking at the price in GBP on the site or not, paypal conversion changes almost hourly, still a good price though.

That didn't quite come out the way I meant , I meant the way they keep throwing it at us and always harping on about how natural it is.

I'm sure Adam will help you out

You're getting on with the 8.1 so it won't be much of a change for you - it's us oldies that are stuck with our nice Win7 that will suffer

Harrogate is a nice venue too. I remember going to a trade fair there many years ago. The best bit was the free champagne (get the buyers drunk and their bound to order ) and the bikini clad babes trying to draw the punters in to each stand :D Believe it or not, this was a trade fair for coated fabrics - along the lines of Burberry fabrics. My first real job was as a Lab Technician for a company that pioneered breathable fabrics. All us Lab Techs got free passes for the Harrogate venue, so we all donned our best suits, pretended to be important buyers and got very drunk on free champagne

Alright Daz, not seen you around these parts for a while :)

That's a fair amount of GVC clone to mix up, you must be happy with the recipe. Do you fancy sharing it, pretty please

That one is Saturday 27th June, I've signed up for that one, only problem is that it would only give me about 5 hours up there (looking at tomorrows train times)
