So, my first parallel build.
This one's for you Terry
First try, snapped the legs on one side, so back to the beginning.
Pros.
1). It's like the "oh my God" moment the first time I tried cotton - the flavour is immense, better than any dripper I've tried so far.
2). Plenty of vapour.
3). Should last a lot longer than a standard micro coil.
4). Tons of throat hit.
5). Needs much lower wattage than a standard build, so better battery life.
6). Great nic hit, so could be an advantage for those lower nic juices you keep wanting to use.
Cons
1). You need a lot more wire and end up wasting a fair bit. Because it's a pain to get the coil legs through the post holes.
2). You need to just nip up the post screws, any more and the legs will snap.
3). Very fiddly to do. It's awkward trying to keep the 2 wires together wrapping the coil, they tend to crimp together and overlap.
4). Takes up a lot of space, in a small build area.
5). Takes a long time to heat up, so on a regular tube mod, might be a pain, better on a regulated device.
6). I can almost see the juice going down in the Lemo, so it's going to be a thirsty build this one.

I am impressed with it though, for the extra flavour and throat hit. It's not any warmer than a dual coil on the Orchid. Used 29g kanthal on a 3mm drill bit around 10.5 wraps. Coming in at 1.3 ohms on the iStick. To make life easier, take a long piece of kanthal, double it over. Hold the two ends in a pair of pliers and pop a screwdriver into the middle section, then torch it well. Helps to keep the doubled over wire closer together and it makes it easier to wrap the coil.

I'll let you all know, how well it lasts, but so far so good
