Vapemail

sigelei arrived.
Pics pleaseeeee
Everyone ordering and getting new vape mail. Feel gutted I've got nothing ordered or really need anything now.:(

Just put on a signature banner and although I only smoked cheap imports I'm still surprised how much I've saved, makes me want to spend more on vaping.:)
Don't feel bad. Just buy what you need and what you can afford. I know the feeling hehe. I like cheap things too. The fact also because those are the only things I can afford haha!

Just an update on the mods, both the smart 20 and dovpo dt 50 are in everyday use and both have been charged 3 times
both are behaving impeccably and I am especially pleased with the way the dovpo remembers the wattage setting for each atty
I probably wont bother getting the mvp v3 now

@ Trish, have you tried your smart 20 on full charge/low wattage yet ?

Trish, Cloupor Mini does go down to 7w (it's lowest setting) fairly accurately, so you may find it better than the iStick. I got one from a UK vendor by Special Delivery, woke me up at 08:05 (had a discount code that paid for the delivery).
Good news then! :thumb: Mine has been despatched and is on it's way, so with luck I'll get it by the end of the coming week :)

I'll be looking out for a decently powered mini that goes down to 5W too. Having said that, the iPow 1600's are pretty good though, and I use those usually at 6.5, but they aren't a nice little mini box mod.

Just love getting up on a morning and reading all the ramblings from the night before. I get to all the solutions a lot quicker, find out whats good and what's not and learn lots of little tips and tricks for for when I have little problems. Cheers everyone, keep rambling :toast:
Rambling and 'aping' around!

Not so nice when the postie wakes you up an hour before you wanted to get up though :(
True! We used to get Parcel Force here around 7.30am and that was a pain! They seem to come around 10 now if anyone sends me a parcel by them, which isn't often! They certainly aren't as popular lately.

Never have that problem. My postie never gets here before 10:00am and my body clock is that far out these days I'm always up anywhere between 5:00 and 10:00. Just can't get it regulated anymore.
You could try Fibro Sleep capsules to see if they help stay asleep longer - not cheap, but they worked for me when I had a problem sleeping all night. In all seriousness, I've sometimes been hard pressed to be asleep by 5am in the past couple of months, and then I'm half asleep still when I get up at 10! My normal time is to be in bed around 2am and then get 8 hours sleep. I did get 7 last night though - first time in a few months. My problem has been switching off enough to actually sleep.

Well I put the Billow on it with what was 2.1 ohm on my P3 it now shows 2.23 ohm so started it at 12w which is about right for it, I then took it down to 7w and there was a hell of a difference for me, could still taste it but very weak, so I would say yes, it steps down.
I'm used to the flavour I'm getting, and some of mine do seem to have very good flavour ...lower watts would explain why some brands just don't seem to get a full enough flavour for me!

Sorry - missed this earlier. No, I haven't why? I assumed it had the same electronics as the iStick. I still haven't sorted the pin yet ...must do that!

That sounds cool. So presumably it recognises the resistance level and adjusts? Assuming you don't have identical resistances in multiple atties.

I have 1 juice that I use in a cheap clearo @ 1.8 ohms on an ego in the car and when I first tried it on the smart there didn't seem to be any difference

Before you attempt the pin fix you could take one of your adapters and from the 510 side undo the screw half a turn at a time until it makes contact
with the battery, then try your atty - it may or may not work cos as the contact moves closer to the battery, it moves away from the atty

Presumably mate, I use 2 attys on it and it can tell the difference between a dual coil 0.9 ohm orchid @18W and a 1.2 ohm single coil orchid @12W

I'd already done the pin shortly after I posted my last comment. I may have raised it a wee bit too much but I'm careful not to tighten anything onto it too much. It works now with or without an adapter anyway.
I just tried an Evod tank on it and yes, seems pretty much the same as on the Kanger battery at around 4.3W!
I was hoping to be able to use those tanks on it with the 2.2 or FT 2.5 coils!

Not that I'll be at all likely to use it high, but I'm assuming there's a limit regarding wattage when it comes to an Evod tank with coil?

The wattage limiting factors are generally the resistance of the coil, air flow and the ideal temperature for your juice. The ego fitting attys are usually in the 2+ ohm coil rating so that they're safe to use on ego batteries. If you could get the air flow and wicking the atty itself is not a limiting factor to higher wattage or lower ohm vaping, within reason of course

Yes, as far as what I have is concerned, it's only the Evod tank that I can get 2.2 or 2.5ohm coils for. (I do have some PT's and Unitanks but don't like them - dratted things leak or siphon after a while.)

I think these iStick ones are OK up to 3.0ohms - just don't want anything exploding!

I went back to Cloudhouse yesterday wanting to order a couple of things ...closed until Monday.
I was a bit puzzled, but have just found that from a search engine I can read their FB page, and it explains why (they'd been very busy and need to catch up & restock) - plus, I see we've missed out on a one day 25% off sale at New Year.
I didn't get any email notification so perhaps it's only on Facebook that such things are announced.

I went to have a look myself earlier trish, more shut than open that place

Anyhoo, FT got back to me today saying that gift certificates cannot be exchnged back into cash :( So it looks like i will have to spend them there  Problem i have is i don`t really need anything, as i ordered the sigelei from Ali`s.

After reading there reply ticket, i saw that they are now expecting the sig to be in stock in 2 days, how pigging frustrating  So i went back on to AE, and put a cancellation request in, and if that is accepted by the seller, i can then use up them certificates ! What a bloody run around i have had
