Just looked at them on FT and see what you mean, the original has a much flatter and deeper side to them, they look like a smaller version of the screws in the FT Kuro Koiler, which I seem to have problems with
The problem was the initial pictures weren't taken by FT and I think they showed the correct style screws, and once they got it in stock they took their own and it showed the screws as they are now.

Only I ordered it between these two events...

Machine screws refers to them being threaded the full length of the shaft whereas bolts are only threaded part way, I,ve not heard of the term "machine headed" but they could well be

I don't know for sure Vince,i was restoring a car and went into a factors and asked for cheese headed, like i had always known them, and the guy thought i was taking the p**s and called them machine headed. But yes i'd always heard my ol' man call them cheese headed.

.......otherwise you end up with coils wrapped over each other.
Happy (if belated) 1 year Bob! :2cool: :)

In better news I've been making different mixes with the capella choc glazed doughnut concentrate and with some sweetener and cream it tastes very nice, it wasn't very sweet to start with but now it's like a cream filled doughnut or profiteroles! Enjoying that today.
Sounds nice! :)

Just returned from the local B&M,you know the one with the nasty juice.
I'd been plagueing the guy to stock a better line. And to my surprise he's now doing an 80/20 vg/pg mix.Maybe of interest to Trish.
He let me try them all and i ended up buying.
£10 for 30ml,not the cheapest, but it really is quite nice.
So what is it, and are they online so that I can take a look? :)

Wondering if something new is in the offing at Chefs - only 24 listed today - both the blueberry ones gone. They weren't ones I liked, so I won't miss those myself.
Still available in concentrates if interested though:)

Puff Palace springs to mind again

You've got a thing about that place mate

That's something I wondered too! (I do know how one company gets it but it's not from one of these 'compliance' sources ...yet!)
But, NT has two suppliers here and at least one in EU ...there must be an acceptable method of export/import.

Well as we get closer to 2016 it can go either way - more restrictions or back to a free market again. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I wasn't thinking of getting that much!

I've already told the Wife, we need to spend less on freezer shopping. At first she wasn't agreeable, until I told her, it was either that or tobacco stained walls again

I could sleep when our younger son is driving. He's a good driver. My Dad was good too, but had a habit of suddenly exclaiming 'Oh hell!' ....had the effect of instant alertness ..was usually nothing much though!
Husband used to drive thousands of miles to do his work (averaged 1000 per week), so seeing accident free, he must be OK
I could sleep on longer journeys when he was driving!
People always felt safe when I was driving, and I was never a slow driver either - but I never had any accidents!

I think it's mainly because I prefer to be in control when driving. I find it very difficult to relax as a passenger. Guess I'd make a terrible driving instructor, I'd be a nervous wreck

Had a go at the weekend with the coil master clone I got from FT and it's rubbish. The screws aren't the correct flat edged type and it just doesn't work.

After a lot of careful experimentation with method I did manage to wrap a coil with it but as it's designed to make coil wrapping easier what's the point?

I ordered the blue one and all the reviews are 1/5 "does not work" but strangely the black and red ones have much more favourable reviews. Think it'll just go in a box and I might see if I can get replacement screws for it.

Just thought I'd warn you guys in case.

I've got the Kuro coilers Adam, they work amazingly well. I've even had success using thinner wire like 30g kanthal with them. Parallel coils, no problem. Even twisted wire builds too.

One of the main problems with these type of coilers is that you must be very light fingered on the coil end so that it comes out with each turn, otherwise you end up with coils wrapped over each other.

That's the main thing Bob, you need to be very delicate with thinner wires. You can apply more pressure with thicker gauge, it's just a case of using the right pressure for the wire you're using.

Been playing with the Rose atty today and managed to squeeze dual coils in there. Only 2mm coils using 30g kanthal. But I did use quite a few wraps, so it's running at 1.2 ohms. Had to use cotton in the build this time instead of my usual rayon, but the flavour is still amazing. On top of the iStick at 15 watts, it's working superb. Think I might take this one to work with me when I'm back in on weds.

My devilicious custard has shipped today too, hopefully might arrive tomorrow :D

Got Mail :)

G2 Prime Vazilla (70VG/30) Custard & Vanilla Icing.
Must Vape Pencil (65VG/35) Vanilla ice cream, pears, buttery crumble (I'll need to add some PG free to this one, but should be nice ....smells/tastes good)

Plus, just seen this - Mad Alchemist. Some of them sound rather good - newly available at UK E-Cigstore in 15ml glass bottles £7.69 (instead of £8.99) AAEC=5% discount :

Thanks! A few of those sound promising - bookmarked! :)

Suppose so!

...who needs food in freezers anyway

I think that's probably my main problem too - flying is something I don't like - the plane gathers speed going down the runway and I get the most dreadful feeling of not being in control. I hate it.

I see they do Alice in Vapeland there too. I had a few of their bottles about a year (bought direct from AIV). Not very strong flavours at first, but over time they did improve a lot. The lemon and orange ones were really quite good after a couple of months :)

Same here, not a big fan of take off and landing. Once we're in the air it doesn't bother me at all, unless there's any turbulence

I have read mixed opinions on the range, so haven't bothered looking too much at it. I see it's mostly out of stock there at the moment ...and it's another one that doesn't disclose the VG/PG content! Same as Jimmy the Juice Man. I think that's a bit arrogant on the makers part. It's well known now that people have tolerance problems with varying percentages of both.
I remember emailing one company a while back and all they'd say is that it has more PG in it than I was looking for. Hardly encouraging and not at all likely to have me try it just to see.

There are times I could agree!
I tried the Interstate 45 today - Very good! A bit like an RY type with vanilla custard, caramel and brown sugar ..and I can taste those flavours. This will be a repeat order!
Still got the 5150 and 0zero to try yet.

I'm only OK for so long and then get fidgety ...especially if I see another plane out of the window

Fantastic juice.
In my top 5 favourites.
Oh! That's so nice to hear! :)
I have PG free ones in pear, vanilla and custard, so should be able to get around the higher PG level in it!
