 my alarm is set for 08:30 but it wasn't either of the normal two I get for SDs, chap normally gets here 08:45 although he has arrived about 08:10 before now, we have a laugh, he keeps threatening to come really early , the lass gets here a bit later, todays guy sometimes does the normal pm deliveries, in fact he came back later with the normal delivery.
When our usual chap is off, it's anyone's guess as to when things arrive, but normally, it's between 12 and 2pm, perhaps 3 if he's really busy.
Parcel Force used to be the early one - just after 7am and often had me skittering down the stairs half asleep. They come between 9 and 11 now.

Ironic really Bob with me being English and you being Welsh

I'm NOT Welsh, I only lived there from age 7 to 17 and went to school there, because my Dad got remarried to a local lass, my real mother was from Walsall, and the male line of my family back as far as 5 greats grandfather were all from Greenock in Renfrewshire, Scotland, my 6th greatgf and his wife whom he married in Greenock both travelled over from somewhere in Ireland - I actually class myself as British, European or  a mongrel

In my view, ministers for such things, be it health, education, industry, etc., should have qualifications in, and have worked within that field. Only then could they be considered to have credible judgement rather than rely on a band of whisperers and manipulators with often hidden agendas of their own.

As they would say in the HoC "Hear Hear"

I was the first out of the present male line to not be born in Greenock, 'cause Dad was a Motorcycle messenger in the Royal Signals attached to to the tank Corp in Bielefeld when I came on the scene, so I have a BAOR birth certificate, hospital was finally closed down about 5 years ago, met the daughter of the obstetrician, that was there at the time and probably delivered me, at a Barbecue about 20 years ago, she was with her squaddie husband, that's how we got talking, he was in the Sigs as well.

Recommended use for concentrate is 25-35%, so to make 100ml finished liquid, 3x10ml bottles in 70ml of base would give me around a 33% flavouring mix ?

No, that would be 30% flavouring

Here's the actual requirements using 72mg nic and wanting 3mg with 30% flavouring juice:
VG with Nicotine: 80 drops [4ml] - 4%
VG zero Nicotine: 1320 drops [66ml] - 66%
Flavouring: 600 drops [30ml] - 30%

drops are 20 to the ml

and if you used a 3mg base instead of the above, then the flavouring would reduce the nic by 30% so you would end up with 2.1mg

The links are in the description of this young puppies vid Trish. If you go to the Website and click on create a recipe and there is a mixing calculator.

Thanks George - just creating an account and see these options - are these what I need to select?
Measure in drops or grams:
Use drops
Use grams
Use manufacturer specific gravities

This calculator is nice and easy eJuice Recipe Calculator
Just enter how many ml you want to make and the flavour % that you want.Hope it helps
Ah! that looks easy:
eJuice Recipe Calculator
User Input
Nicotine Base mg/ml zero
Target Nicotine Level mg/ml zero
Amount to Create ml 100
Water Added (optional) % (not sure so said zero)
Flavor Percent % 35

Recipe
PG or VG with nicotine 0 ml 0.0%
PG or VG (no nicotine) 65 ml 65.0%
Water 0 ml 0.0%
Flavoring(s) 35 ml 35.0%

Was hoping to make it so that I'm using full 10ml bottles of the flavouring rather than leave bits in the bottles. I'll see if I can work it out that way ...later :)

Thanks Bob - things starting to get clearer! :)
I don't worry much about reducing the nicotine with the flavouring ..what I don't think hard about, I don't notice! :)

So if I want 6mg, I'd use 8ml nicotine base, and 62ml Zero VG ?
and if I want the finished mix to have 35% flavouring, I'd add 35ml instead of 30 (I don't mind about the extra few ml to keep it simple)

I can try using the calculator though too.

Just watched the Health minister interviewed on the Welsh news.
The immovable object. That guy is not for changing his mind.He is taking his advice from the WHO,and we know their argument has already been discredited.
Despite advice being offered by a number of knowledgable parties eg British heart foundation,Tenovus etc.
A ban would not come into force for 2 years.
