Computer not working properly today - everything seems to load or open very slowly - I type and then the word appears, I open a page and it won't scroll for some time.
Looked a bit odd when I started it up this morning - think I was seeing part of the start up process that I don't normally notice because is usually all starts up quickly. Everything looks faded and then starts to develop colour/contrast.
Everything I do seems to have a delay before responding. Thank goodness I'm not trying to edit photos at the moment.
So, something seems to be 'on it's way out' - I've sent an email to Chillblast and will see what they say.
If like Philae, I go silent, whatever it is died
I do have a notebook though, so reluctant though I am, I may need to use that.

I thought there was a DNS issue last night with pages loading erratically, but I must have been this problem.
It's a pain trying to do anything.
Whatever, I've sent an email to Chillblast - if needed they have a tech chap that can poke around in the computer remotely.
It's 4.5 years old and works fairly hard a lot of the time - something may be wearing out (apart from me of course!)

I remember microsoft doing that with my laptop once when i was having a problem, and it was sorted out. Don't think she's amused

After a whole day of everything behaving badly with this computer, both visually and physically, I switched on this morning half expecting it would have slipped away in the night
...no, started perfectly! No ripples on the screen, no faded loads that gradually recovered to full contrast/colour, everything works when clicked on, pages scroll, images load.Last night, I needed to make a few purchases (2 paint suppliers and M&S) after a painful process of getting things into a basket and checking out, they all took 4-5 minutes to complete payment.
Even typing things here only produced words seconds after I'd actually typed them. Close something and the tab on the taskbar took 30 seconds to slowly shrink away ...it was all a mess!
So, the computer company sent an email today asking for a copy of the events log - sent it, and what do you know ..the computer is looking in a very healthy state!
Yes, good news - don't need a new computer today ...but in a way I'm disappointed to have had such dreadful performance yesterday, yet nothing to show why. I don't really like unexplained problems.
Anyone want a 30ml bottle of NT's Got Cookie in 18mg - it's well steeped (Aug '14) not a milk chocolate taste, but a rich darker chocolate. To me, more chocolate than cookie. I used to mix it with 20-30% of something high VG or 100% VG, but I'm mostly using an average of 4mg now, so would take a fair bit of mixing with 0mg to get it low enough.
Mixes well with any creams, custards, strawberry cream, cereal/cookie flavours, and even some tobacco ones etc.
