Whoops, I've been emptying the wallet again, just bought a Raptor 20A/120w mod and my Wood DNA200 is also ready (it's either the middle one or on the right):

Me too ...set of tyres! :(

Wood isn't my personal favourite - for all those look rather neat, but the Raptor looks very smart! :)

Very nice. I'm still really enjoying my dna200. I'm sure you will too!

Escribe may have a firmware update for you so don't forget to plug in the mod.

Remember it takes a 1 amp charger and to change profiles is:

Hold up and down down when fire is unlocked
Double click or down to change profiles
Adding temp control for titanium and stainless steel. Here are the two files you need.

316 Ss - Dropbox - 316l.csv

Titanium grade 1 - Dropbox - tiwire.csv

Both made from steam engine values - loading is explained in the tutorial

TCR | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators

Escribe manual - http://www.evolvapor.com/manuals/EScribeManual.pdf

Escribe software (install before plugging mod into PC - no Mac software available). - http://www.evolvapor.com/software/SetupES.exe

Interactive tutorial - EScribe Training Simulator v9.5

DNA 200 forum - DNA 200 Early Adopters Forum

I'll link you to my custom screens when I'm finished.

I've been umming and aahhing over the Raptor for a while, following the modders thread on UKV, and it's only after seeing some different ones at VapeFest that I decided I would like one to add to my extensive collection , luckily someone had dropped out of the listing so he still had it available, just got to wait for it to make it's way from Spain on Monday.

Heathen! I was happy I decided to kee my surface when I saw it was Windows only. Though parallels would run it.

The interactive tutorial is fantastic. It's quick and simple to understand. And the software is rally good for tinkering and adding functions. Before unused it I didn't really appreciate how useful it would be, as a yihi chip owner.

Nice that you managed to secure one! It does look rather upmarket in a business-like sort of way.
I'd say hope you like it, but I'm sure you will! :)

Hey up Pipe, did you get yourself a TC mod yet ? I know you were contemplating.

Hi Terry,

Being an old stick-in-the-mud I decided not to just yet and instead have pre-ordered an istick 100w from FT largely because of the replaceable batteries. The batteries are on their way - still waiting for despatch of the istick. If it's half as good as the 50w I shall be very pleased. :) Similarly I recently bought a spare Nautilus Mini - I love these. They just work imho. Got that from myepack because of the paypal issue at FT (I don't do bitcoin - told you I was a stick-in-the-mud! :) )

I think that the standard of vaping gear is now so high that I have cut back on experimentation and settled into a very comfy comfort-zone. Which is nice. :)

I'm starting to feel that way too - if it works and does what you want it to do efficiently, then it's good :)

Did another 2 of my KF4`s earlier, same as yesterday`s at .5 ohm. Shame i can`t do my fourth, but that is on an i-stick :( But regardless, i have all my tanks rocking now, and really pumping out full of flavour clouds. :)
I have one on my iStick @ 0.06 ohm, mind you it is the 40w TC

It's rare to see people setting the bar with istick products. My 30 watt is working fine still and I did buy a 40tc for going out so I didn't have to take the $200 mods on shirt trips. It works fine too, though needs to be set higher than the yihi or DNA 200 chips temp wise.

FYI I ordered the über toot v2 clone today. $35 for the clone, I'm thinking it is a rebrand of the same factory. Typically the case with the expensive clones at fast tech. It was said to be 316. This is the last one I'll get probably before I decide on an authentic. I may buy an erlprinz rather than a elkonigin fast tech clone.

I bought an authentic youde goblin (full size) and I'm extremely disappointed. The goblin mini is well built and while the threads are a bit clunky it's overall got good build quality. The full size goblin cake covered in machine oil, the threads are awfully machined. The tank is not good at all.

I'm glad it didn't cost more than $20 as almost every ft clone I've bought is miles ahead quality wise.

The real UT is made in the UK by a UK modder PeteC on UKV and rrp is £140

Ah that's right. I'd forgotten this one is a uk built. Thank you. Well it's hard to say if it's truly MADE in the uk isn't it? It could be assembled? I'm not sure what the rules are.

At any rate I think I've explored most options I wanted to, except the rose v2 and elkonigin

I was just sitting musing as to why my work has suffered to badly these past 6-8 months. It's as though days slip past, and although I've attempted to make headway with a piece of work, it's never enough, and I find myself wondering where yet another week went ..and why I'm so lethargic and sleepy most of the time. I just can't seem to stay focussed on my work for long, so it's a stop-start affair. It occurred to me that it's almost an ADD type of situation. I can go through a whole day, doing things, yet in an almost soporific manner, knowing I should be panicking over my lost schedule for work, yet feeling little more than regret, and wishing I could find my motivation/concentration levels again.

So, I searched here at ECF for 'attention deficit' - I found enough to convince me that it is indeed a condition that can affect ex-smokers!
I then did some reading at dedicated sites via Google, saw that there are 6 types of ADD, and found this (amongst other info):

Inattentive ADD: .....does not manifest high levels of hyperactivity. Rather, people tend to sit about quietly, in a dream-like state, and often appear bored, inattentive or “spacey.”
Rather than being hyperactive, they often have polar opposite tendencies - inertia, sluggishness or lack of motivation. This makes diagnosis very difficult, as it does not display classic ADD/ADHD behaviour.

Limbic ADD: ... those with Limbic ADD have especially short attention spans, and suffer from persistent negative thoughts or excessive guilt. Often this receives a depressed diagnosis, but antidepressants will actually increase moodiness.
The limbic system normally regulates mood and outlook, as well as controls sleep, appetite, and social interactions. Nutritional intervention helps as well. Healthy fats: Omega 3, will help regulate brain functioning, while L-tyrosine, St. John’s Wort, or SAMe will improve and balance mood; these are possible useful anti ADD supplements in this scenario.

Not unique to children, but mostly affecting younger people, I suspect that the effect on adult ex-smokers is likely to be unchartered territory for many doctors and consultants, especially the non hyperactive type that seems to relate to my problem, and the likely affect of reduced nicotine levels.
Mostly, the problem seems to be handled by basic GP's and psychiatrists ...so what about my particular problem and it's causes - I'm pretty sure that no current GP in my practice will even understand the exact problem, and then wonder what sort of specialist I need to find to get some sort of tablet perhaps to kick-start my brain in it's original mode!

Thinking how hit and miss that could be, and the fact I hate taking drugs, I'm now wondering if I need to increase nicotine strength seeing some people seemed to notice it after cutting down to lower strengths. I don't want to increase it after getting it so low successfully, but the only other alternative other than drugs, is smoking ..and I sure don't want to go down that route, even if only a few a day! I would feel terribly let down by myself!
Perhaps if I get a bottle of 12mg and use it for short spells throughout the day it may help?

The above isn't the only problem I've developed since I stopped smoking either - Although I've never had it before, I've been suffering from Ulcerative Colitis for 6 weeks now, and it turns out that if one has the propensity to get it, stopping smoking can trigger it. Seems smoking tobacco has some protective qualities in that field!
Seeing this is an auto-immune disease, I'm also now linking it to the fact I've had a fairly aggressive and resistant flare-up of psoriasis (also an auto-immune problem) since early this year ..haven't had much of a problem with it for over 30 years!

If I need to, I can see a private Dermatologist that we already trust (I've tried all the usual creams & ointments), and can see a Gastroenterologist through my health insurance.
The ADD is something that may not be so easy to find the right person to understand and treat the problem.

So, I've posted this here partly thinking out loud to better get it into perspective, partly to see if any of you have any particular thoughts about it.
Not keen on putting it in the health section.

It's only because I was following his thread about the UT, I also bought 3 mods off of him in the classies, one being the DAP 4.2v Semi-Mech (60A/250w) onto which he had stuck his UT sticker:

Oh that's fun. I wish there was a way to try a bunch of these authentic a out at local shops etc. but nobody around here carries anything outside the general subtlantisgo.

Have you bought an ubertoot atomizer? It's very similar to a tai fun so it should be interesting to see what improvemets are there if any.

By the way, nobody is buying juice from fasttech are they?
