How does the fasttech points system work? So many points per purchase? I've bought a lot of stuff there but never paid attention to points. Is there a page to visit for redemption of points?

Yes, you get points for purchases and also for reviewing. Seems like they'll never get to over 10, but eventually they do if you buy there enough - when you're logged in, it's in the drop down under where it says 'hello----' top right, then you'll see 'rebate points' look there and the figure top left is what you have that can be claimed once over $10 ...you just ask them via a ticket to transfer it into a code and they do that for you.

Yes it's a dry heat. However so is the oven. I wouldn't want to live their either. The biggest issue is that it never stops. For four months it's 30-45 every day. We get some humidity up to 40% during monsoon seasons. I've lived in NYC FIR 7 years n I'd take their humidity over the summer here every time. Because it doesn't last. It always breaks. We get the opposite seasonal affective disorder here. Where it's just so hot all you do is sit hoke or go to a movie. This summer has been relatively mild. Until a few weeks ago. We usually consider Halloween to be the first time it begins to get comfortable. And the discomfort starts around mid June.

I know a friend/colleague in Arizona, and another in LA. He was brought up in Washington, and even after all the years he's been in CA since he married, he still hates the continual heat, dust & humidity. I see on CBS news that both states have been in trouble lately though with heat, drought, fire - reminds me, I owe him an email, so must get in touch and make sure they're all OK!

Personally I can't wait to get out of here and but for the back and brain I would have been back to Manhattan years ago.

Fascinating place - all things to all people. I've 'seen' it through both sons eyes at different times. Youngest was there two years before 9/11 and went to the top of the WTC.
Eldest got married there a year ago.

I use a D4,so i presume the D2 is similar apart from obvious differences

Speaking of Nutty Nah, she`s doing really well Marcus and i am very pleased with her. She`s more or less fully socialized with other dogs and humans now, and she is very well behaved when i walk her. Eats like a bloody pig though, with the farts to prove it.

Ha-ha! 'Tis a woofer Terry, not a puddy tat ..Sophie will literally eat anything we give her, but the little one is a really fussy eater ..absolute pain at times. She won't eat fish apart from a tiny bit of tuna when we have some with a salad, but Sophie loves all fish.
I'd love them to get some oily fish for their skin & coat, but they both get the same - perhaps I should start giving Georgie something different now and then and give Sophie some pilchards ...she loved them when she was Maya's age. She likes mackerel too.
Tell you what did make her reek: Tripe! Yuck - breeder used to feed them on tripe a few days each week and we couldn't even stand the smell of it!

Still, Maya's looking good no matter what she eats!

I think all dogs must love cheese! The one we had before Sophie was impossible ...even if she was at the bottom of the garden she could hear the door on the cheese compartment of the fridge, and we'd be very careful to be quiet too!

I remember one evening though, son had said he'd left £50 on the kitchen table and wanted me to look after it for him until the weekend.
A couple of hours later, I saw her in the doorway from the corner of my eye ..and she looked guilty. I asked what she'd got, and as always, she showed me her front teeth ..and there was the folded up notes just peeking out!
I knew better than let her know I wanted them back or was worried, so I ignored her and she went off into the other room. Left it as long as I dared and went for some cheese out of the fridge - I walked past her eating it, and thankfully, after a pause, she left the money, got up and came to see if I'd give her some! I had to put it on the floor and very casually walk fast to pick up the cash!

With Sophie though, she's so big, everything interesting to her has to be put out of reach!

Well the experts reckon a dog is fully grown at between 12/18 months Trish, but the way she is going, probably 6 months
