Had a delivery from Iceland on Monday, was surprised it was a normal white van man sized vehicle, it is usually the same size as the boxy Tesco/Sainsburys ones, he was well late as well, and they rang me to say they had refunded £10 due to the lateness and 10% off next order, probably because I didn't scream and yell at them when I phoned up to see where it was.

Was it still a refrigerated/freezer van?
In any case, if they were late, they must have had a vehicle shortage or breakdown ...nice they compensated you! :)
Tesco & Sainsbury used to do that if they were 10 minutes or more late, but they stopped doing it.

For us, it's a chap with a little van, and he's very efficient - always comes on the expected day, even delivers bank holidays too if people are at home. We even have his mobile number to let him know if we need the delivery day/time changing.

I think both Hermes and Yodel deliveries depend very much on the people they pay to do the deliveries - apart from bigger items, it seems to be a sort of franchise where people get a delivery early morning of all the days packages, and then deliver with their own vehicles.

Only ever had one parcel go missing and that was myhermes.
Day 1: Couldn't find your house
Day2: I'm sorry we have lost your parcel
Felt sorry for the retailer who had to provide a full refund, but that's really their problem trying to do delivery on the cheap.
They may save a couple of quid over RM but on this order it cost them dearly.

Does the atomiser have a protruding 510 so your new mechanical can be hybrid?
It's both. However electronicsstix just cancelled my order. My hey said they don't have them nice of them to borrow my money for a week and not fix the store issue. Oh well.

Yes it was a frigovan, they've had some breakdowns in the past with the bigger boxy vans, probably why they are trying out the smaller ones, yes it was unexpected, I'd phoned them about an hour after the 2 hour time slot they gave me, and then she rang me back about half hour later to tell me they were going to do the refund and about the 10% off next order which I thought was nice of her, perhaps they don't get many people who don't curse and swear at them

Looks like I'll be getting my TB mods squonker back soon along with the new one that "windows" on AAEC is building for me, he's already fitted the new spring loaded 510 to mine, so will have to get another Ni-200 BF atty built, I already have a Zenith made up waiting for the TB mods, think I'll put my Origen v3 on the SX350 and move the Velocity over to the new one after I rebuild it.

Will windows take on any work Bob,even down to replacing just a 510?
Was thinking of having my Hana done.
He does repairs etc as well as selling his own built mods, my TB Mods squonker was having problems recognising a few of my BF atties, and although it looked like an adjustable 510, it would only move a fraction, and I didn't want to break it, so I asked him if he could change it for a sprung loaded one, the option was a proper Italian MAV kit or a Fat daddy, I went for the more expensive MAV kit as it includes the different sized catch cups, and as I had already bought my DNA200 from him and the workmanship is so good I asked for a new DNA40 squonker as well.

Unfortunate you had a parcel lost, and I have seen others not have a good experience with them too.
Think we must be lucky with the chap we have.

Nice customer service! ...no good ever shouting or being rude to the person on the phone as it's rarely their fault anyway, and only makes them cross :)

Totally agree although I have got a bit cross with those idiots that are trying to sell me something I don't want/can't have, especially when I am on the do not call list.

Just Contemplating Getting One Of THESE With A Uwell Tank To Top It. Certainly Got Some Good Reviews :)
I've heard good things about it, the only slight niggle I've seen in a review was that the slide on door can be a bit loose, magnets might not be strong enough.

I've ordered one of those Terry, surely can't go wrong for under £30.

Just a shame they aren`t selling the RBA`s for the uwell yet George, think i will still push the button though :)

I've got one in my wish list ..not fussed about TC, but it seems well made and neat :)
You really should give some of your TC a try Trish, you never know, you may actually enjoy
