I just read a thread on UK Vapers regarding fiber freaks, apparently it`s just plain old Rayon

That's what i thought it was no just found a link on Reddit to proper supine cotton. For spinners. Half a pound is $18 and you can choose fibrous direction etc. half a pound of cotton would last a lifetime.

Well it's not certified organic. And improbably needs to be boiled. They have an organic product that's probably tray to vape but honestly I can't be fussed. I know cotton bacon is rebranded. But it costs me $15 a year to use it so I am not sure it's worth the effort to try and find the source to buy three pounds or whatever
I'm trying to decide if there's any better mod for $40 then another evic mini. I can't seem to find anything better. Anyone have any thoughts on another temp control mod around that price and size? Don't care for he ipv d2/3

Those are he right ones. Honestly I'd buy the less expensive ones. I'm not sure the clap tons are worth £2 more. I didn't think of aspires store because in the USA shipping anything is like $20 from them. It's ridiculous. A lot of stores will be getting them in soon enough. Even a local shop
Probably if you want to try one of each to decide if you prefer the Clapton or the 1.2 kanthal.

I'm using he 1.2 right now as I burned out a Clapton testing he upper power
Limits. It's great. The Clapton gives more throat hit. If you're vaping 0mg high vg you may prefer them since that type of juice lacks any throat hit. On the other hand if you're vaping 6mg juice you may not like the additional throat hit. Flavor may be ever so marginally better wih the clap tons but honestly they're both great compared to the nautilus bvc coils.

I'll probably try the 1.2 then - not in a hurry as I haven't used a Nautilus mini for a long time. AspireUK site does free shipping in the UK, so not too bad.

Throat hit is something that has never bothered me - I did find that quite odd initially because I smoked up to 35 per day in the final couple of years I smoked, and really looked forward to a cigarette after a spell of not being able to smoke if out somewhere, or after a meal, and certainly didn't take tiny short puffs of a cigarette!
May be that as I reduced nicotine strength in the first 6 months, I also gradually stopped using any tobacco flavour liquids too! I try to use lower wattage whenever I can and not inhale vapour too much ....if I do, it interferes with breathing! (Too much PG does the same too).
For me, it's flavour that counts

I'm trying to find some premade coils on fasttech but there is nothing in the middle ground. All the coils I see are micro at 1-1.5mm diameter or larger like 3.5-4mm diameter.

I'm trying to find some 26 and 28 gauge kanthal 2.5mm with a resistance of .7-1 ohm or nickel coils 28 gauge 5-6 wraps in 2.5mm diameter.


Is it me or do they not really offer much in a 2.5mm diameter! Or anything near that.

I got my second Aromamizer up and running earlier, i used the 24 ga kanthal which arrived today 11 wraps @ 2.5 mm gave me 0.4 ohms. I did dual verts, filled up with RY ....., and bloody hell, what a nic rush i got I`ve put it away till tonight, and i will have a good blast with a cold beer
Definitely going to have to reduce my nic level for these tanks Thinking about it, Bob, i have the concentrates etc, so how would i reduce 12 mg ready made to 3 mg ? 12mg is way to high !!

3 is a 1/4 of 12 so if you have say 10ml of 12mg ready made you would have to add 30ml of made up zero nic, using the same percentages of concentrate, pg & vg

Not sure I agree with the NHS prescribing them, that could mean that they are thinking of now classing them as a medicine, which would mean even stricter rules on those who make juice like Chefs etc. What I would have preferred was that doctors could advise people to change from smoking to vaping and then giving them the information and telling them where they could obtain vaping equipment, and even pushing them into checking with forums like here and AAEC, I mean if they can afford to smoke then they should be able to buy an eGo kit to start with and not put a burden on an already stretched NHS.

I still have 80ml 12mg Mint Choc Vapetto, so I'll need to make 240ml of zero to dilute it! I'll get to that soon.

I don't agree with the NHS prescribing them really either. Not something affordable for a start, and doubtful that what they offered would be of effective quality - perhaps it won't happen anyway.
I liked where that GP surgery opened a shop next door!

Anybody able to find .7-1 ohm coils in a 2.5 diameter? The problem I'm really having is I have to click on every single coil to check the diameter which may not be listed.


I ordered the triton mini odyssey bundle today. I really really like he triton mini coils and I want to see how aspires new tank stacks up against the kabuki. Instead of string another evic mini. I somewhat question whether the odyssey will be anywhere near as good as the evic mini plus it doesn't do stainless steel.

Thanks Bob, what would i do to make it 6 mg, as i think dropping to 3 may be a bit to big of a drop Would it be 10 ml of the 12 mg and 15 ml of 0 mg ?

I'm vaping 3 in my rdta Tel,it's a hell of a drop,think i may up it to 6.Just don't get the sensation of the draw,too smooth.Which i know if you are used to it is good.
But like youself i vape 12mg in other rta's and 6 in a dripper,so 3 is not very satisfying.
