Hence my comment above, most of the Steel wires are fine in power mode, but are very spikey in temp mode, have a look at one in device Monitor when you put it on the DNA200 and you'll see what I mean.

But if you want one wire to do TC and power Bob,you'd have to live with it.

@terry w I have a Crown with pre-built SS coil in it, on a DNA40 set at 200F & 30w that works, but it don't half crackle

So, this is what`s confusing me Bob !!! I can use SS in All my mods Yes ? But NOT in TC mode unless the mod has a setting for SS, is that correct ?

I've got the new Kanger TOPBOX Mini starter kit and I've got an eVic Mini on it's way so I think I can use any wire.

In any mod in Power mode (vv/vw).
In a mod that has a setting for SS at normal 430F-450F.
Or in a mod that has Ni or Ti setting but only at 200F and less watts/volts (wire wizard says 150F but the min is 200F on mods), but as I say I have the crown on a DNA40 (Ni only) at 200F & 30w

Cheers Bob, it seems that SS will be best for me then, if any of my TC mods won`t recognise it then i can just use them in power mode I think i will get a spool just out of curiosity, probably end up with a couple of fingers missing though

No go with the new monitor! Feeling a bit fed up with it (to put it mildly!)
Not sure quite what is wrong now ...card should be OK with UHD 4K, but perhaps the cable isn't quite what's needed - not sure, so will probably have to wait until our son is back on Thursday!
(that's two next day deliveries that have been a waste!).

Just tried a Crown on the VF Mini and it doesn't stay in Temp mode, it automatically reverts to Power mode, but yes it works just not in Temp mode.

In all this time, I don't think I ever cancelled a single item from an order - is it OK to just click 'cancel'?

I'm just waiting on the one item now,Says due in 4 days,
But i don't want to cancel as it's 10 SC Ni coils.They were approx 1/3 of the UK price.

I did earlier today, I had an order ready to ship except one small $2 odd item, just cancelled that one item, now waiting for the shipping email, 07:30 over there at the moment so a bit too early for them.
out of my other 2, one has only 2 items ready, the other none, both expected to ship 23/02

Dry burning not really recommended - may be done at very low wattage and short bursts, otherwise the coil will burn through, done it myself a few times, don't know if George has tried it.
