I've got my old mum in hospital at the moment, chest infection. She went in yesterday afternoon.
Strange,it seemed to affect her mentally. She went all doodle ally.
Hope she recovers okay, that's what my missus went in with, turned to pneumonia, and her heart was too weak to cope with it, as long as she hasn't had any serious heart problems she should pull through with the right antibiotics

She's had a heart attack, but it was 25 years ago.I rang the hozi this morning and she is on antibiotics.
I'll be going to visit tomorrow. She's in Glan Clwyd, approx 20 miles away.

Well that's the way I would see it - if it is a chef's mix, then you could ask them about the difference
No, the Chefs ones are already mixed & ready to use, and they give a recommended percentage to mix with base.
The ones I'm talking abut are the recipes in those two Pdf. volumes.

That's what I would do, does your base include Nic, which should be enough for 100ml and not 81 or 84.5ml unless you are not too worried about the reduction in Nic that the added flavours will make, it's one of the reasons I do not make up a base mix, but prefer to just make the 100ml from scratch
I don't even think of the nicotine reduction when adding a concentrate to base - if I don't think about it, I rarely notice it
Did you see my edits to the above reply I made
Yes, but if I treat the percentages per single flavour as mls, I'll then end up with a small bottle of the finished concentrate ...I need to know what the recommended percentage is for making an e-liquid from that concentrate.
(Of the ready made concentrates at Chefs, one of the VHM flavours recommends 10%, another 17%, and so on - so they vary according to the recipe.)

With MCV, the various five flavours and their individual percentages add up to 36%, so seeing the recommended mixing quantity was 35%, I call the 36 'mls'. instead of '%' - it works perfectly: 35ml concentrate and 65ml .3mg base. (Apparently that's how Karl does it too - just on a larger scale). Be great if they were all that easy!

I just made 350mls of MCV e-liquid this afternoon using the last of my pre-made concentrates.
Once they get down to 100-150ml, I'll make a large bottle of concentrate from the 5 flavours needed for the recipe.
Then, when we can no longer buy nicotine VG base, I'll make 500ml bottles up using VG and an appropriate amount of nicotine ready to add to concentrates.

That would be easy, say you like the finished product, then decide to make up 100ml (or 95ml using the x 5 method) concentrate using the 19% example, then for every 100ml finished product you would add 19ml concentrate, 81ml base, you just have to make sure the concentrate is well mixed and given a good shake before use, although to be honest it's not something I would do, as I said above preferring to make the finished product from scratch using the different ingredients, using the desktop program ejuicemeup : Download eJuice Me Up Free
This is where I start to lose the plot with it all

One of the first signs of an infection - had that effect on me last year: I was partly aware of talking to people who weren't there for a few days, and our sons also tell me I spoke a lot of gobbledygook too

Sorry to hear about your Mum - hope she improves quickly :)

Well that is exactly how you would treat those 2 examples that you mentioned above and any of the other mixes

They don't build them like that anymore! :(

Bit morbid but, there are approx 20 small black steel crosses in the grave yard.
Some Canadian troops,i don't know when, were found guilty of mutiny, shot and buried there.
They call it the Marble church but i've always thought it wasn't made from marble.

Well my mum certainly did Trish.
She's 94, it's knocked her sideways.
So sorry to hear that.
Some infections can have a devastating effect on us - I was pretty much out of it for a few days in 2007 with campylobacter, and I was only 55 then.
Last year though was the most ill I've ever been, and I never want to feel so dreadful again - I'm still in the recovery process, and my immune system is still attacking me in other ways - I'm seeing another consultant on Thursday to see about the possibility of a biologics drug that will block part of my immune system.
I can't have antibiotics because they could cause the colitis to recur - same with steroids (which I hate).

I sincerely hope your Mum makes a good recovery- I can well imagine how ill she feels.

There's some grim tales in the depths of history.

Just googled it and it is marble from Anglesey and the Canadians died from a flu pandemic.
Typical Wales,a story never loses anything:laugh:
So the Canadians weren't mutineers? ...and they shot them so the 'flu didn't spread?  ...just joking .....bore da.......
