Question for the mixers here.
Just bought a litre of 3mg 70/30 base mix. (70vg).
It’s extremely thick. I haven’t added the flavour yet, but still looks as though it’s going to be thick.
Any way to thin it out? Don’t mind dropping the nic a touch if I have to.
Cheers.

Depending on what you're going to use it in, it may not be a problem. I'd try it the way it is before thinning it out.

Hi Dave
Your concentrate may well thin the base enough for you.
What is the recommended % of concentrate they say to use.
Anything between 15 & 20% would make a big difference as concentrates are usually carried in pg.

Hey Bry, haven't added the flavour yet but normally add at about 15%.
This stuff just looks a lot thicker than what I have used before.
I will try a small sample and the distilled water if needed to try.
I normally do it the easy way, 1lt of 3mg and 150mg of flavour gets me close enough to what I like. No fuss and last ages.

Hi Dave - I use 3mg VG base - as George said, once mixed with flavouring, it's fine.
Where'd you get a litre of mixed base?

Christmas is just around the corner. In case I forget I'd like to wish everyone here a Very Merry Christmas!

Aye, All The Best Everyone & A Happy vaping New Year

A very Merry Christmas to you all :)

Hi Pictor, this is the mix I’m trying this time. TMBNOTES.
Thanks Dave! Didn't know I could still get pre-mixed base! Does it taste OK ?
...only used the Chefs so far (still got around 300/400ml left), but do have some juice Cabin steeping that I got just before things changed, and not tried any of it yet :)

It says premixed but it was delivered with nicotine shots to put in so near enough.
Haven't tried it yet, down to my last 100ml already mixed.
Thanks - I've bookmarked the page, so when you use some, do let me know what it's like please :)

Well I mixed the base I got, full litre with 150ml of Red Astaire. Should be just below 3mg nic but that's ok for me.
It thinned out nicely and tastes ok to me.
Thanks - sounds good! You've been used to the taste of the Chefs base I think, so if your new one tastes OK, then I'll try some when I finish what I have! :)
