Hey guys Father's Day is coming up I told my wife to get me a provari

Then I went to go buy some liquid and stumbled across the sentinel

Which one would you guys get ??

I'm pretty sure I'm still leaning towards the provari mini black with blue led lights

But if some one can give me some pros and cons comparing to provari
like for example

with the sentinel how does it vape comparing to provari etc

Thanks guys! Appreciate any comments back

I just looked up the Sentinel for the first time and it looks like a mech. That would put me hands down in the Provari camp. Sentinel looks great though.

yeah its a mechanical mod i love the look of it thats why i was wondering if anyone tried compared to the provari its cool too because you can make the sentinel use a 18350 battery and it's smaller then the palm of your hand pretty stealthy looking

but i do love changing voltage/wattage all the time for different juice's once you find that sweet spot on a certain juice everything else doesn't taste that great

The sentinel looks cool as well, but that depends, are you looking for a mech? If your not then stick with the Provari.

hey dude i hate to bother you where did you get that banner on the bottom where your signature is where it show's how long you have not been smoking for??? i would love one of those lol

Depends on what type atomizers you use. For low ohm coils mech is probably good choice and sometimes the only option. For other types I think ProVari will work better.
Also mechanical mod will easily let you drain you battery under the safe level. This won't happend on mod with electronics.
Mod with electronics will also stabilize the output (Watts or Volts) and give you constant vape.

If you see a banner you like, just click on it and make it your own. :D

Provari is great APV, but so are Sigelei Zmax and Vamo. Read about them and pick the one you like best. I wouldn't start with a mechanical myself, but that's just my opinion. VV and VW are really, really nice features.

I taught the question here is what do I get for fathers day Sentinel or Provari, not what is a better vv/vw mod out there .

Anyway to answer your question unless you are into rebuilding I would strongly suggest going with the Provari, Sentinel being a mechanical mod wont give you the satisfaction the Provari would bring when it comes to regular tank or carto, now if you are into rebuilding and you want something that would fuel your steam engine then by all means go for the Sentinel.

FINAL NOTE:Looks has nothing to do on how well a mod would preform :)

the provari is a vv device it allows you to adjust voltage to match the coil resistance and your personal taste
the sentinel is a mech you wrap the coil to provide a desired resistance to match your batteries voltage and your tastes

personally i love sub ohm coils on mechs and have stopped using anything vv/vw all together my choice would have to be the sentinel

I'd go with the Provari, especially if you like changing your voltage. My husband and I have a few Provaris and, other than having to send one in to have the display pushed up on one, we have never had an issue with them and all are 1- 1 3/4 years old. If you think you may want to purchase a mechanical mod with an RBA you should check out some YouTube videos about wrapping coils. Check Phil Busardo and Scott Bonner.

Mechanicals tend to be favored by those who like sub-ohm coils (under 1.0Ω) The cutoff for a ProVari is 1.3Ω; below that, you get an error message. However, on a mechanical you can add a Kick (which is made by Evolv) to be able to set wattage for the device.

The OP did not state what they were topping the device with. If you are using a clearomizer, carto tanks, or something similar, the ProVari would be my choice.

Personally, I prefer carto tanks to RBA's, so I have ProVari's. I have had a mechanical device but it was not really what I wanted, so I sold it.

Research both first, then decide. There are numerous videos on YouTube about ProVari, and various types of mechanicals. I cannot say which one is the best choice, as everyone is different, and vapes in a different manner.
