kayfun Mini V3. kayfun 4. kayfun Lite Plus. In that order. I will get a 5 once I can get my hands on one. Appears to be a big Mini V3 with a couple of small differences.

The big difference is the air flow.

It starts out where the KFL+ Leaves off, so alot more air comparatively.

Then there is the exterior adjustability..

I've really learned to like the Kayfun Mini V3 clones. Perfect for my MTL style and so easy to build a caveman could do it.
I feel the same way, I grabbed a couple for the stash, and when I tried one out realized just how great a design it is. I just had to order a couple more and some spare parts for them. Probably my favorite rta to date.

I've tried two EHPro Bachelors, loved almost everything about it but just couldn't stop either of them from leaking so I can't recommend it.

Funny enough my Bachelor Nano has been flawless and is my fav RTA. Awesome flavor and vapor production, lots room to build on and has some great features like juice flow control, easy top-fill with the hinged top and the (optional) MTL kit.

Oh hello, old post.

Update; both the mod in the picture as well as my Bachelors (I owned 5 at some point, Nano & regulars) have kicked the bucket. When I finally got them to stop leaking the decks started shorting out on me one by one.

I do have a new favorite though, the magnificent Kayfun V5. Mine is a SJMY clone.

I have tried so many of the tanks listed in this thread. The Erlkonigin was probably as close as I got to replacing the kayfun lite v2. I just couldn't get the airflow to cooperate. I'd get it where I liked it, heavily restricted, and I'd end up burning the wick. Open it up, and it was too airy and prone to leak.

The Aqua 2 wasn't bad, but it was a juice hog, being a double wick design. The GP Heron is a good atty, but prone to seepage if left sitting too long. That can be countered by filling it with the blue foam, but that's a bit of a hassle.

So I just stick with the kayfun lite plus v2 and aftermarket bell style tanks. I tend to buy the bell tanks 5-10 at a time. They last until they've hit the concrete a couple times. I'm a firm believer in less parts=less trouble.

Jumped on the Kayfun 4 bandwagon with all the other lemmings, and just couldn't feel the love. I felt it was over engineered and too complicated. From what I've read about the Kayfun 5, it should more properly be called the 4.5, as it's a stripped down version of the 5 that keeps the good things and ditches the bad.

Kind of like the 3.1 vs the Lite, now that I think about it.

@The Ocelot had/has a favorite tank as well, but I can't think of the name offhand. If I remember correctly, it was a similar design to the Kayfuns, but had a 1.5ml tank. Not a popular atty at all. Before that she was using Protanks. Heh. Been a while since I thought of those. I remember when they were THE tank to use on a ProVari.

I like the Kanger Subtank Mini for ease of build and filling. Been looking for a good price for a couple more or even try a couple of their Toptanks. They just work, good flavor, good vapor, no leaks.

I also use and like the old Orchid V5, not an easy build or wicking and the fill is with a needle. I have all my favorite flavors in 60 mL luger lock top bottles so fills are reasonable easy. I've replaced the tanks with Kayfun M tanks which adds space for juice. Improper wicking will make them leak like a sieve (I use rayon), but after a few builds it's fairly easy. Seen them lately for $5 a piece (US vendor) and am thing of stocking a few more, but really don't need to.

What has helped me the most is using only my own DIY juice. Without any colors or additives, I seldom have to re-coil or re-wick more than every couple months. I like spending my time just sitting back and enjoying a good vape.
