Favorite tanks? Most popular?

Hello all. I'm finally ready to take my first step into the world of tanks. I'm finding it overwhelming and equally frustrating finding the right one. I am currently using an ego-t battery but have a Provari en route and would like to try something other than just a carto - hence the tank curiosity.

Is there popular or well recognized tank by the ECF community?

I apologize if this has been ask over and over but I'm struggling to find any results with my searches. Any help would be most appreciated.

one of the most sold tanks available is the smoktech 510 DCT tank. They can be had for around 11 bux and weork well as long as the cartos are of the new triple punch variety. Work great with pg and high vg content blends.

I might add they are available in a variety of colored transparent acryllic and can be had with black or chrome tank plugs. Great bang for your buck. Available in Low res, normal res or high res carts.

This might be a stupid question but will a regular single coil carto, such as my Boge LR carto, be too small to fit in a DCT? I'm just not familiar with dual coil cartos. Are they wider due to the additional coil?

They shouldn't be any wider, just longer. If you are going to use a DCT you will either need to cut it down to fit the standard length boge lr cartos or get xl ones.

Cut the tank? Seems like a bit of work! Do they sell tanks for regular sized carts? Reason I ask is have have about 25 boge LRs sitting around and would like to use them in a tank if possible.

The mini sub tanks from Momandpopvaporshop will work well with the cartos you have. Plus they're easy to fill and very inexpensive.

I'd have to suggest the M1A1 from Notcigs. It's slightly pricey, but the fill screw is worth it's weight in gold. I can fill my tank up in under 30 seconds, and the screw also doubles as an anchor to keep the tank from sliding around on the carto. I've never had an "oops" with it. It's still completely pocket friendly too.

Honestly I don't think I'll ever buy a different tank. They come in 1" and 1.5". The smaller size will hold the standard "Boge" size carto, where the larger is for your "XL" size cartos. The tank is also made of a crack resistant plastic - they have a video on their site of the tube being smashed repeatedly with a hammer without damage.

I love the M1A1 tank from Notcigs.com. I load em up with the SR Boges that I slot with my dremel and file down the rough edges so as not to damage the o-rings. Also, they have the thumb screw for easy refill. Its is pretty close to tank vaping perfection!!!

I do highly recommend that you pick some up with the thumb screw option for refilling. It takes the mess out of fiddling with sliding the carto up and down or taking the top off, which can cause some serious juice spills if you aren't careful. The extra money spent on the thumb screw option is totally worth it IMO.

With all the carto mods out there you would think that one manufacturer would offer different cartos with different fiber density and different hole sizes or factory slotted. If people make it others will buy it from the store that way.

Do lava tanks come with holes in the tube? If I'm not mistaken, I can see a hole in your tube there.

No you have to punch your own, but there a few vendors that sell the jig to make the hole.

I second Lil' Mama - Just got one over the weekend and it's awesome! Very tight and doesn't leak or slide at all. Might want to get the Slap Yo Mama tool, makes things easier
