Nice video.

My brother and I ordered our first E-Cigs from china a few days ago, can't wait for them to show up. At first I was somewhat worried about the ban and not sure if I should buy. But now after reading all the success stories and videos such as this I'm not worried at all! They shouldn't be banning these things in the first place, they appear to have helped so many!

happy vapin

Not going to effect me. Plenty of atomizers, passthroughs, power pack, mods, and juice. I'm good to go for a few years. I still believe we will be able to get small personal orders from China and/or there will be an underground market. I'm actually planning on getting to zero nic before 2 years and maybe quitting completely by then. So I'm not too worried.

Thing is, there's an ABOVE ground market right now and no serious signs that it's going to end any time soon. Until the FDA starts ordering raids on retailers, there's no reason to panic. Even then, many retailers will just move off shore and will continue to do business. Where there's demand, there will be a way to satisfy it. People need to calm down.

BigJim--I would agree with you about Custom's not being able to effectively seize small shipments. But what about the Shippers refusing to accept the shimpments in the first place. DHL did this on their own inititave when the bans went into place in a few of the other Country's. After all, the do have licences to do business and do not what them pulled.

If shippers like EMS refuse to ship them on their own account to the US----then there is another problem, so the Ban is really one big pain in the rear.------------Sun

C-That is because DHL refused to ship from China manufactures over 5 months ago. That is why you have never recieved one from DHL---If EMS decides to employ the same rule ---then you will not see any from EMS. Large Shipping companies, IMO, are not going to risk their busisnes over a "small potatao" item like the e-cig. If the FDA and Customs puts the heat on them----they will comply and not ship------Sun

u say you can vape for months or years does this mean someday we wont be able to vape?

Can people still find pot, ......, crank, coke etc. etc. etc.?

You have your answer.

(that's not to suggest that e-smoking will be outlawed, just that when there's demand, people will find a way to satisfy it regardless of what the law says)

i think Jim mean's "it might" take years if they eventually turned up the heat to "eradicate" e-smoking. Bottom line this appears to be more of an annoyance..than a DESPERATE situation. I did buy tobacco seeds though:D , i needed a new plant for the yard and i thought it would be fun to extract nicotine JUST in case. I mean if i perfect that then, i know im fine.

Fortunately, almost all suppliers in the US use USPS for shipping. DHL is a private shipping company that can do whatever they want. Unless congress passes a law and the President signs it making owning a PV a felony, the USPS has to deliver it. They can only prohibit delivery of illegal items (child porn, etc), or dangerous items (flammible liquids, etc) With all the millions of pieces of mail that passes through, there is no way they can inspect every package that passes through.

And even if they do list specific companies to ban shipping with, it's as easy as the shipper changing the name of the company printed on the label from "Joes E-Cig Shoppe" to "Joes Happy Puppy Farm". :D

There are ways around it.

While i didn't know that, i meant it differently. DHL is more of a BUSINESS class international shipper, and my orders over 13 years never crossed their path. Alot of ecig suppliers in the China will relabel, reengineer their products to pass scrutiny. Juice is the only real problem. Maybe we could get attys and batt's, yet we will all be DIY juicers. Alcohol prohibition never worked, so i do not see this hurting any.

I hear you Big Jim, but most people do not want to be involved in "mislabled" products being shipped to them. Most people, including myself do not want any part of "shady" dealings. That is why it was so important to stockpile. Many of us have already purchased enough atomizers to last a lifetime. And for those that use Nicotine, they have loaded up on the e-liquid as well. Noone really has to be concerned about the batteries as MOD's take care of that.

As for the UPSP---I will hold my comment on that. -----------Sun

Actually e-juice may be even easier to pass. Lots of other herbal liquids and other liquids make it through on a daily basis. I once bought a container of grapefruit seed extract from China in similar e-juice bottles awhile ago with no trouble. It may end up actually being easier shipping the e-juice than it would be to ship obvious electronic components (batteries, atomizers, chargers, etc)

Customs and shippers would have to inspect millions of bottles of liquids on a daily basis if they really wanted to stop it. The end result may very well be the ironic one, getting e-juice easier.
