Actually, the military invented the internet. It used to be called DARPANET.

"Yes, but the military is obviously an arm of the government; his point—pointless though it may be—holds. "

Vocaleck is right. I think she was just being informative. If there was any point to my post it was my twisted round about way of pointing out that these threads always seem to degenerate into rants against big business and big government. Personally I am more interested in good government. But that should be another thread and it's all I have to say on this one.

Aren't they busy enough with trying to control the country's food supply?

Your right... Actually, they are going to be busy little beavers because
they will also be setting up offices in other countries to control
and regulate other countries. Well...control what foods other countries
will be allowed to export to us. Natrually, only GMO will be permitted.
I'm sure the FDA and Monsanto are just thrilled.

Well, good to know the FDA is fighting for me to stay on analogs while making sure they can pull eggs off the store shelves. With their track history we better make sure our fridges are always full. Never know when they'll pull an entire product from the market from finding "trace amounts of something harmful from one sample".

I feel so much safer now.
