While searching for juice carriers in my area i found this: read this little exert from the page: I'm the owner of the G-4 ecigs. Yes my product has FDA registration on both the ecigs and juice. My product is the best selling unit in the midwest.

sadly the g-4 was the first model i bought.. personally think it's cheap and pretty crappy... LOL vapor production sucked, throat hit sucked.. and it needs a drip tip.. trying to refill their carts is worthless for me.

But FDA REGISTERED? IN THE USA??? His statement doesn't make much sense to me.. thought the good ol FDA was hating on the e-cigs right now.

Since FDA has APPROVED the 4,000 plus chemicals in the cigarette mfg. process! Why wouldn't they register any company that PAYS them to do so? Just another sales ploy to have us think they are APPROVED, which I DO-NOT believe they are! Johnson Creek Smoke Juice proudly state they are FDA Registered! They are! But NOT FDA Approved! Read and Weep! Applause

If you go to to the FDA Registration page and read the paragraph below the registered establishments & devices search form it clearly states that just because a company or device is registered does not mean it is FDA approved.

I searched his website, which was malformed in the article, but by changing "freewedstore.com/....to freewebstore.com/...it was located. anyway they inscribed on their "spare" battery the words "FDA Approved".

And just by reading the sloppy verbage on the site tells me they're not legit.

This thread actually wasn't about Johnson Creek. But, since they were brought up, they do not in any way imply that they are FDA Approved and state such pretty clearly.

It does not mean we are "FDA Approved." The FDA has not yet made a determination on whether or not it will regulate the e-smoking industry, nor what those regulations might be. Johnson Creek Enterprises, LLC facilities and operations are FDA Registered. The law now requires that all companies who produce products for human consumption, must register their facility and operations with the FDA. Further, all information pertaining to a company's address and nature of business must be current with FDA at all times.

But to the original post and follow-ups on that company, if they actually have 'FDA Approved' stamped on the device or on their site, it is a scam. There is no such thing.

If they, instead, have FDA Registered on the device, then it is tacky and misleading and would steer me away from them.

In my previous example, Johnson Creek did it correctly. Yes, they announce it on their site but clearly spell out exactly what it does and does not mean. And it's not on their products so it could be taken out of context and misunderstood.

I came across a wholesaler......selling FDA approved ecigs, when I inquired they sent me a scanned paper that said that their products where FDA approved...but "FDA" was another company in china named FDA not our lovable US FDA ...'s.

You are correct that the post was NOT about JC, but since we are on the topic and JC clearly posts it to give them that edge of credibility! But do they have a FDA Inspector on site to oversee their processes as any Meat packing plant does? ALL MFG. of ANY product for HUMAN consumption in the USA are REQUIRED to register. GO here 14. Bioterrorism Act of 2002 Section 305

JC might not have a FDA Inspector on site but my guess is there manufacturing facility has been inspected and approved on that basis.

LOL. I think we're making the same point. Being FDA Registered is required for anyone making a product for human consumption. It's not, as previous posts implied, an optional thing you can get if you pay for it (like getting into Who's Who). At least that was my point.

It's obvious our opinions about Johnson Creek differ. That's fair. But -- and this is only my opinion -- I think a big reason they make a big deal about being FDA Registered is this: search the forums for talk about USA-made juice. You'll find that a huge perception is that most of it is made in someone's basement sink. Johnson Creek (among other reputable companies) have sterile labs, mixing, and packaging sites. I have no way of knowing if they have FDA inspectors on site. But by being FDA Registered, they at least better be ready in case one shows up.

Hi ya Greg, Yup! Same point different approach! Once the Good Guys in this industry are sorted out from the BAD ones! We the consumers will have even better products! I do-not down JC from tooting their horn. They have become one of the Good Guys according to many! Their products continually become better to keep their customers happy and reasonably safe, as so do many of the little guys who are also becoming MAJOR players in this biz. The snake oil salesmen are becoming a dying breed with vocal forums like this one and the other GOOD ones out there who stand up to them and say it like it is! I DO come here to seek out the BEST to spend my $80 to $100 per week detoxifying this OLDER than Dirt body!
