it may be a little late in the game for this, but has there been any discussions concerning tightening up the method that we purchase our supplies? by this i mean maybe requiring proof of age beyond what some websites presently do which is fundamentally stating age? i know it would be a pain (i don't like it) but would this not be at least a token showing the market is will to police itself?
secondly, i agree with those who stated that johnson's creek needs to step up to the plate and respond to concerns and questions. i think they can do so in a manner that doesn't disclose all of "granny's" recipe. after all, we are talking about something ingested and, as far as i'm concerned, this goes beyond implied assurances of safety.
lastly, what can be done about manufacturers who dilute their product with crap? this is where i think the eca, and/or a consumer-based association comes into play. it's all fine and well wanting to influence policy in dc, but it says something else when ponying up knowing that the bs emanating from the fda and anti-everything crowd have been and will continue to be monitored within, and mean it. i think there are enough good people here vested in our lifestyle choices that would take part in some sort of action that police the manufacturers, hold them accountable and inform this community, and the world at large, of how the manufacturers are doing. sort of a consumer union of sorts. dunno, worthy of consideration.
