Has anyone seen the comercial for the freaking Eyelash medicine to make your eyelashes grow. I saw a commercial for it and listening very closely to the stated side effects this new liquid can mess up your eyes.

how the **** is it the FDA can approve bull **** like this which can do damage to your body and ban something that is so much better for you than cigs such as the e-cig.

All I can say is the FDA is a ******* joke.

Come on FDA pull your heads out of your asses and actually do your job. for the love of god, do something right for once.

By "mess up" are you referring to how it can create permanent brown pigmentation in your iris? If so, are you insinuating that brown eyes are a "mess up"?

Do you have proof that e-cigs are "so much better for you" than this medication? Is there a study out there that shows that e-cigs cause absolutely no long term damage?

Also, before making knee-jerk reactions, it might be time to look into how clinical trials are done, who bankrolls them, who double checks them to make certain the data presented isn't BS, etc. Now, I'm not saying their aren't problems with the FDA approval process, especially the "fast tracking" approval methods, but it's not like you can slip the FDA a $50 and they look the other way while you peddle asbestos as a cure-all.

Read up on the history of medicine in this country before the advent of regulatory agencies. You think the FDA blows? Perhaps you'd rather we go back to the day and age where I could sell you chalk and claim that it cures cancer and diabetes and will increase your breast size a full cup.

Also, the FDA does things right. It's just you never hear about them not approving medications that don't work... drug companies, for some reason, don't send out press releases to brag when their products get xxxx-blocked by the FDA. But if something gets approved, man, you can't get those ***holes to shut up about it.

Yes it is a mess up when something changes the color of your eyes! Brown eyes are only a mess up if you go from having green to brown after using hair growth formula.

If you are using prescription products for lowering eye pressure or have a history of eye pressure problems, only use under close doctor supervision. May cause eyelid skin darkening which may be reversible, and there is potential for increased brown iris pigmentation which is likely to be permanent. There is a potential for hair growth to occur in areas solution comes in repeated contact with skin surfaces. If you develop or experience any eye problems or have eye surgery, consult your doctor immediately about continued use. The most common side effects after using solution are an itching sensation in the eyes and/or eye redness.

I also think its a bit scary and weird if you accidently touch your cheek you could sprout some hair on it.

Seems crazy thing to use for cosmetic purposes.

It might be wise to also research.. and try to uncover many cases where the FDA fraudulently obtain discression during the course of investigation to cease production of company product, advertising for that product, smeared campaigning and trade vending subsidies, Libel based on the product veered start-up to proceed through defamation of character and burnt any chance of recourse for the company under investigation due to creditors, business funding, and business revenues being seized.
All this within two weeks, and after 22 months of proceedings, the FDA findings were overturn, as a result of their candy$%$ misleading proposals and the company was left with a fat "0" in the bank account, previous start-up lendors waiting on their money, and bankrupt to the tune of 1.7 million in debt and court cost.

This is one company of a large list that the FDA has done a fine job of maintaining the most quality investigation process and I have to tell you, I would rather take the chance with an eyelash restoring liquid F^&%&%* my eyes up, rather than have a product that does its job without any concern or potential for health hazard. By the way, the product above was the first contact that was available on the market.

All up in your grill..
The FDA are hands down one of the most unethical and money driven organizations I have ever seen and had the misfortune to fund with my taxes. Droves of doctors have come forward siting notable approved respiratory function in their patients, yet the FDA ignores this. Several studies have been done (including their own) which prove that e-cigs ARE safer. As too long term use, Anyone can acess the FDA's info on pg. It's been used regularly since what? 1940?

The FDA has the hardest job in the world...

...Second to the U.S. military, of course.

So I don't like how the FDA does everything, but I wouldn't want to walk a mile in their shoes.

(Oh, and Latisse? It's a cheap repackaged glaucoma medication that happens to have a side effect of growing your eyelashes really long if you use it like an eyeliner rather than as eyedrops. You can get it really cheap if you just import some generic bimatoprost 0.03% solution (or get a doctor to prescribe Lumigan as if you have "glaucoma"). Not that I'm encouraging going around the $120/month brand name repackage, but.... I like to mess with the system, and since you can get the same results for a tiny fraction if you have two brain cells to do some research, Latisse is just a tax on stupid vain people.)
